After Derek 'died' and came back, he had been distant. You didn't try talking to him, because you knew he wouldn't say anything, but after two weeks, you decided to give it a shot.

You walked out of his loft knowing there was something more to this, and you were right. Derek didn't want to tell you that while you were out with Stiles, Scott, and the others on the bus trip, he cheated on you. He told himself he did it to heal himself, but he knew that wasn't the truth. And that is something he could never tell you.
