A masculine voice boomed from behind, getting closer with every minute passing by..
Her husband's.
She nervously took a deep breath in.
It's time.. It's time, when he'll finally know the truth, she thought.
..when he'll finally know that I kept the rose he gave me on our first date, all these years.
As he took the final step..
He gently took away the rose from our hand.
And, caressed her cheek with a fresh one. She chuckled as he said,
"Darling, do you still need this one when I can get you one every year?"
She pushed him away, giggling softly. Ten years, and he's still the same! She thought.
..the same boy, she fell in love with!
