Teary eyes.
Quivering lips.
Blotched face.
A Broken soul.
This is me left all alone
And forlorn 'cause you left.
You promised never to leave but
That day the ambulance drove you away
And you never came back home.
You left without warning and
I never got to say you goodbye.
I wanted to say so many things.
It saddens me that you went
to a far far away land.
But you left behind such wonderful memories.
I cross my heart and confess
That I have and will always love you!
And my little memory library of you
acts as a promise that I will
NEVER FORGET YOU !
