Chap.9: Grounded

CHAPTER 9: GROUNDED

After the incident in Jisoo's
house, Jennie went home because of the Phone call from Soohyun.

"Be honest and tell me where were you last night"Soohyun
said with an angry tone.

Jennie didn't utter a word, Soohyun is a little bit scary when he's mad.

"Are you gonna talk or do I have to force you?" Soohyun said and crossed his arms.

"Uhh.. I went to a friend's house, Oppa" Jennie said but
Soohyun wasn't contented with
her answer.

"Who?" Jennie gulped. she knew it's better to lie at
this point.

"Uh, Ji.. Jinyoung" she stuttered.

"you went to guy's house? am
I right? you are so grounded,
you are not allowed to leave
the academy for a month! Go
back to your room now! and don't think about leaving again!" He yelled making Jennie look down.

Jennie did as he said, she knows Soohyun was just worried that's why he got mad.

She sighed, and walked through the hallways and saw Lisa was walking over to her.

"Hi, remember me? I'm new here" Jennie nodded and walked passed her.

"Wait!" Lisa followed her and pulled her by the arm.

"What?" Jennie asked irritated.

"I have to show you something" Jennie's heart was pounding, she felt weird.

Jennie was dragged by Lisa
to a room were it was only
a few walks away from her room.

"Ah! finally you're here!"
another Lisa said.

"What? Why is there two of you?" Jennie asked pulling her arm away from the clone.

"I sent this clone cuz I don't wanna be flyin across the room 'again', not now"
Lisa chuckled and made the
clone disappear. she closed
the door using her wand &
gestured Jennie to come close to her.

"Lisa! What do you prefer pepperoni or-- Oh! Unnie you're here!"

"Chaeng? What are you doing
here?" Jennie asked as Rose
hug her, she then pulled away
and took a deep breath.

"You have to see this" Rose
said pulled Jennie closed to a table where a mysterious dusty old looking book was placed.

"What is that?" Jennie asked.

"it's a book" Lisa said.

"I know it's a book, I wanna
know why you're showing me it?" Jennie said.

"Well, Me & Chaeyoung was doing a little bit of exploration in the forbidden
woods then--"

"What? That place is dangerous, and since when did you guys became close?" Jennie interrupted.

"Aish! Let me explain first!"
Lisa demanded.

"So as I was saying we were
exploring in the wood then Chaeng fell into a hole and
then she found a box and inside of the box was this
book, Now I want you to open
the book" Lisa commanded Jennie.

"What? Why me?"

"Just open it Unnie!" Rose
said. Jennie sighed and wipe the dust away from the book
and slowly opening it.

"Kim Ji-yong & Kim Lee-yan"
Jennie read the names written
on the first page, her eyes
widen when she realized it was her parent's name.

"it's your parents unnie, we
thought it would be best if you were the first to know what else is inside the book"
Chaeyoung said and placed her
hand on Jennie's shoulders.

"Thank you, you guys" she hugged Lisa and Chaeng.

"As I was saying, what do you prefer pepperoni or mushrooms?" Chaeyoung asked
out of the blue.

"Pepperoni!" Jennie and Lisa
said in unison.

Class has dismissed and Jennie was in her room silently looking at the book Chaelisa found.

she decided to open it, she
was once again greeted by her
parent's names. she then go to the next page, where it
says.

'Kim Family'

then she go to the next page and found pictures of all the kims, she smiled looking through all the old pictures
until she had gotten to the
last page of the book.

a picture of her parents carrying a Baby, it was baby Jennie. but what caught her eyes was a little boy standing beside her dad.

she focused on the boy's face, he looked like alot
her mother.

"I have a brother?" she asked herself still not believing
what she saw.

she closed the book and kept
it inside the bedside table
before going to Lisa's room.

"Lisa?" she knocked. she entered Lisa's room but no one was inside and there was
a small piece of paper on the
ground. she picked it up.

'Meet me at the Abandoned well'

she quickly rushed outside
to the meet up place, she hid behind the bushes when she saw Lisa talking to someone
wearing a mask and a hoody.

Jennie instantly knew who Lisa was talking when she heard the person talked.

"Jisoo?" she mumbled.

"did you found her?"

"No, I haven't. I'm really struggling to find her unnie,
I think it's time for your help"

"Ugh, Fine but after we find her let's leave the academy
for good, okay?"

"can I stay? I'm starting to
love that place,especially I've met someone already"

"Okay fine, you can but still
keep an eye on everybody she
could be anyone"

"so when will you help?"

"I'll just be there soon"

"Got it, are you leaving already?"

"Yeah,take care Manoban"

"Nyongan!"

Jennie rushed back to the
dorms. shocked of what she saw, and because of that she
bumped into Irene which made
the coffee she's holding spill to her blouse.

"it's hot!" Irene said quickly taking off her blouse leaving her on her bra.

"What's with the rush Jennie?" Irene said irritated as she wipe the red spot on her tummy where the hot coffee has spilled.

Jennie gulped, she got caught
off guard seeing Irene shirtless. she bowed her head and apologized.

"I'm sorry, Let's go to my
room" Jennie said and was about to pull Irene to her room but she stopped.

"No thanks, My room is beside
yours so I'll just change there" Jennie scratched her head when she remember that.

Jennie was still in shock that Lisa and Jisoo know each other, and about what they were talking about she got curious on who was the 'she'
they're referring to.

But Jennie knew she needs to
keep it as a secret that she
found out between Lisa and Jisoo, it wasn't the time to
confront her but she needs to investigate on who was 'she'
that the two was referring.
