After lunch, us three girls had all the same classes. We stuck together like glue. Lilly offered to take us all home with a short stop at a small café. Right now I'm sitting in a booth with Haley hung on my arm, stuffed full of the biggest pile of chile cheese fries I've ever seen. We ate so much our stomachs hurt, and we had food babies.

"O.M.G. You girls can eat! How do you both do it, and not get fat. I'm gaining weight just watching you two stuff your faces." Lilly giggles as she sips her lemon water.

Haley rolls her eyes, "Fast metabolism I guess. Oh, hey let's name our food babies! Jess yours can be Jane and mine can be...."

"Asia!" I lauded while I rubbed my stomach. Haley giggled and acted like she was really pregnant moaning and laying on me.

"Oh, hey so when is your birthdays, so I can save them on my calendar. I have got to have plenty of time to plan a party!" Lilly whips out her phone and starts tapping away.

Haley turns to me, "My birthday is next Friday. I'll be 16. Jess your birthday is September 14th right?"

"Haley you know you're right because it's the same day you adopted Buck. Your big slobbering yellow dog." I laughed at her big grin.

"Yeah, sorry I kept my gift I got you. I got attached between the shelter and your party, and just took him home instead, but you did like those ear rings I replaced him with." Haley was laughing hard now and Lilly was rolling in her seat.

"Wait." Lilly said as she held up her hand. "You kept a puppy that you adopted for Jess on her birthday, and swapped him for ear rings." She whipped tears from her eyes. "O.M.G. That's so funny!"

I laughed with them. "That's not the good part. The good part was the ear rings was some her mom bought her for her birthday that she never wore."

We busted out laughing harder, and how we didn't end up on the floor actually rolling I couldn't tell you. It was at that moment I saw Jordan's jeep pull up. Two red heads sitting in the back with glum faces and a mad blond in the driver seat hushed my laughing quick. Lilly looked out the window and rolled her eyes. Haley just sat up and blank stared at us as if we had went crazy.

"Who is that and why are we not happy now?" Haley asked. "Should I be ready to beat some guys asses?"

"That Haley, is a jeep full of trouble." Lilly said as she flipped her hair over her shoulder.

"Yeah well, they are my new brothers and if they are upset it's because you offered me a ride. They grow on you when you live with them. William is only nice to me at school though."

Haley's jaw dropped and I pushed her mouth closed with one finger. She shook her head and swatted my hand away. "Those are your new brothers? Wow can I have the blond? You said nothing about them being hot!"

"Haley you don't like guys remember. You have Jason at home."

"Right. I have Jason." Haley licked her lips and smiled. "It doesn't mean I can't look."

We all busted out laughing again. Jordan and the twins just sat in the jeep watching us. Jordan kept running his hand through his hair and glaring at Lilly while the twins just looked as if they were bored like little kids at a lecture. Lilly paid our ticket and we walked outside to her pink convertible corvette.

"It took you girls long enough! Are you headed home now or going somewhere else?" Jordan said as we got into Lilly's car.

Lilly slid into her seat, and yes it was a pink fluffy seat. She was a frilly girly girl! She never once looked at Jordan as she slid her sun glasses on and said, "We will go home when we go home. We are going to look for birthday gifts because these two girls have birthdays and I have to plan parties. You boys head home Jess is safe with me." With that she turned the key and pulled out of the parking lot.

Jordan's jeep was left behind as we crossed town to the shopping district. Car dealer ships and shopping malls as far as the eye could see. We decided to just park and walk till we dropped. Haley wasn't a big shopper and would rather be on a farm, but she played along. If only for Lilly's sake.

We passed windows full of clothes and jewelry that we had only dreamed about. We went into a few and we all tried on clothes and took pictures as we played dress up. You could see Lilly making mental notes of styles and things we liked. As we walked back to her car, with a few bags of stuff Lilly just couldn't live without, we passed a blue car. The car caught my eye as soon as I seen it.

"Let's check it out. You can at least sit in it." Haley said as she watched me practically drool all over it.

"Sure why not." I shrugged as we walked over to it.

A salesman was at our side immediately holding out a key. "It fits you dear have a seat in it and look it over. I think you'll love it." He said as we each admired it.

"Well it's not pink, bit you can always have it painted." Lilly said. "Oh, and I can get you seat covers custom-made." She clapped her hands together and giggled.

Haley just shook her head and walked over to the bikes and trucks. Always a cowgirl that one. I sat in the driver's seat and ran my hands around the steering wheel and imagined myself driving to school. I do love trucks but this car was like a surprise soul mate or something. I loved it and would definitely put it on my wish list.

"Ok girls." I called over to Haley. "Let's go home I'm tired and have a couple of brothers to get back to before they send out cops looking for me. It's like they just can't stay away from me and poor Tommy will probably stay in a tree till I get home. Roxy has her hands full as it is."

We all pile into Lilly's car and as we made our way back home we sang to random songs that played over Pandora. We pulled up to my house where five furious guys stood. I rolled my eyes and told the girls bye as I moved to the steps landing to my impending doom. Well it's time for fireworks I guess. Did I miss a rule book somewhere?

Dang worst of all, I forgot to get Haley a gift!
