She took the deal after owing money to the Lodge family after they got her out of a mess in New York she owes them a lot of money but one day she visits the jail on the first day and day after day to visit FP Jones at first it was for the case but she began to fall in love with him not because of him being a bad ass but him being sad deep down.
When he gets released from prison he goes to riverdale hoping she would be there after she hadn't gone to see her for weeks but she wasn't there she wasn't the only one who fell in love he began to realised he missed her and wanted to protect her but when he went to her parents house they hadn't seen her for weeks.
