For once in my favor, life had rolled the dice.
Breathless in your presence
Breathless in your absence.
You lit a fire within me.
One that could never be extinguished,
One that could never have been lit by anyone but you.
But all good things come to an end.
I was in love with everything about you
And so was my boyfriend.

Why is that we always meet this one person who lights a fire in our soul but for some reason we can never be with them?
