BTS' Namjoon and Chaelin confirm dating rumours!
After more than two years of speculation, BTS' Namjoon and Chaelin confirm that they are dating! Their management, BigHit Entertainment, posted and official statement on Valentine's Day, stating that "After years of speculation, we have decided, along with our artists Kim Namjoon and Kim Chaelin, to address the dating rumours, which first surfaced in mid-2016. After a long talk, our artists wish to share, that they have indeed been dating for about two years now." In early 2016, rumours started with Dispatch publishing a series of pictures of the couple on dates, which their management left uncommented. Due to their work and close friendship, few people believed that they were dating, but the rumour stayed. Intimate interactions and discreet words the words between the two suggested that Dispatch might have been truthful in their accusations, but Namjoon and Chaelin stayed quiet.
Why the two of them decided to open up about their relationship now, is unclear. But fans seems very happy with it, trending #Namlin & #Finally all over various SNS. It is suspected, that the two are planning to get married, as Chaelin was seen with a Tiffany Setting, an engagement ring, on her finger not too long ago. "They could be planning to get married soon, but don't want to overwhelm fans with a marriage before they even know of a relationship," insider Kim So Eun says on live TV, shortly after news of their relationship broke out. "They knew an announcement was practically going to break the internet. Imagine what would happen if they announced a marriage!" she continues. And she's right; Naver was down for a few minutes after their relationship was announced and even news programs continue to report about South Korea's new couple.
