At the Seoul Music Awards 2018, Chaelin wore a tight, along sleeved black dress with a very revealing back during BTS' performances. Seeing as she wasn't performing herself that year, she really gave her best to give their fans the best, possible performance, even though she had a lot of trouble performing in the short dress-and the over-knee boots. But still, ARMY's went really crazy over how confident and sexy Chaelin looked throughout the entire performance, as she usually preferred to keep her image sweet. As she walked onto the stage, she already had a confident stare, slightly smirking at the fan chants.

She continuously held seductive stares whenever the cameras were on her. Especially during her part, where she sung: 이미 황금빛 황금빛 나의 성공 I'm so firin' firin' 성화봉송 너는 황급히 황급히 도망 숑숑 (or for those who don't/can't read Hangul: My success is already so golden I'm so firin' firin' like a torchbearer You're rushing to run away) she smirked, clearly pleased at what she was singing.

When the dance break came around, fancams captured her amazing body rolls whilst international ARMY's, who could watch the Awards via Vlive, went crazy over twitter.

When Chaelin and Namjoon flew to Hawaii on their own after having visited it with the boys for Bon Voyage before, Chaelin decided to make a travel video for her and Namjoon to look at once they were back in Korea. Unfortunately, Chaelin's iCloud was hacked and the video was obviously posted online. Whilst it mostly featured innocent videos of them enjoying food, going hiking or enjoying a boat tour, there is also one clip which obviously Namjoon shot. It was Chaelin facing the window with an ocean view out of their hotel bed-simply wrapped in the bedsheets but everyone was able to see that she was not wearing anything else.
