Motocross Love Story

Chapter 5...

- Bailey picked me up to go to the football field -

"Hey girl !" Bailey said as she acted excited . I looked at her and laughed , "Heyy" .

She turns the radio on , & when she turned it on , 96.5 was playing "Problem" - ariana grande ft. Iggy .

We were singing along to it & then finally pulled up to the football field. there was a lot of people here , from our school and a few different schools .

"What's going on up here anyway?" I ask before we get out of Baileys jeep.

"Apparently some big party for the beginning of the school year or something." Bailey answered .

I just nodded my head & got out , Bailey got out too . We both started walking over by the open gate & got stopped by Ricky . "Hey Payton ! .. & bailey ." Bailey glared at him . "hey Ricky ? " I said confused . "Can I talk to you real fast?" he asks me . I look at bailey confused & she nods her head . "yea I guess." I say.

He took me over by the fence where no one else really was . "So today in study hall .. you said you rode & raced dirt bikes . " He said. " yea , & your point?" I said trying to make him get to his point faster. "My point is .. do you know how beast that is? for a girl .. well for you to race dirt bikes ?" He says. "well thanks I guess . but I don't know why this had to be private .." I say. He looked at me for a second . "I guess what I'm trying to say is , we Should go ride together sometime . Ya know , I've never rode with a girl before ."

I stood shocked & felt my cheeks get as red as the roses in my grandmas garden . "So like a date ? you practically asked me on a date." I say . He smiled & chuckled . "Well , you put it that way , yes . " He said .

I couldn't believe it. One of the most popular boys in my grade ... Asked me on a date . Oh my gosh . "well , then . I guess so." I giggle and answered him at the same time. he smiled & said "Great !" & handed me a piece of paper . "what's this for?" I ask . "it's my number , text me after the party ?" he asks . I nod & he walked away smiling .

I walked back over to Bailey with a huge smile on my face . "What did he want?" she asks in a bratty jokingly way. "he asked me on a date to go riding with each other !" I tell her excited.

"He rides too?" She asked. I nod my head , "he also gave me his number !" .

Bailey hugged me , "I'm so proud ! you finally have a little crush!" . I roll my eyes in a kidding way .

Then we walk all the way into the gates .

-An hour later-

We were all having a really fun time , laughing , being loud , playing games , dancing , & being crazy .

I stayed with Bailey the hole time , we were talking to people & taking pictures with some of our friends .

We were having so much fun .. until Ricky's girlfriend came up to me...

OMGG ! I'm so sorry for never posting ! I just haven't really been on my iPod or wattpad ! I will be trying to keep up with the book though! so be prepared for more of this book!
