You saw her from afar, your smile fading from your lips. Your friends tried to pull you away before you saw the kiss that was happening between Hayley and her current girlfriend. After the new girl walked away and across the street, you started walking towards her.
"What are you doing here?" She asked after she looked across the street.
"Just wanted to say hi, and to see how you were doing," you gave her a shrug and looked down. "But it seems that you're doing amazing. Which I'm happy for." She frowned at you, but you shook your head and gave her a smile, when you saw her girlfriend coming towards you guys. "Bye Hayley, have a good life." You turned and walked back to your friend's, trying not to cry, but failing.
