the whole room erupted into cheers and all michael could think was no fucking way. no fucking way that this is a coincidence. calum was cheering with ashton who had his shirt pulled over his head.

"will you fucktards sit down?" michael was eager to continue reading. "if you don't listen to me then i'm just gonna carry on without you," he warned and luke frowned

"but i didn't do anything," he whined.

"no, not you honey, you can read them with me," michael assured him.

"you're the best babe."

"get a room," ashton giggled while calum said at the same time, "how could you?" to luke.

luke just shrugged. "the heart wants what it wants."

"shut it guys, i wanna know if she likes any other good music."

i haven't heard any of their other songs, but that's probably because the world is forced to listen to miley cyrus and one direction songs

i just think that sometimes really good music is completely underrated and it hurts because everybody puts so much effort into their songs but only a few people get recognition

"wow," ashton whispered.

"she's perfect," luke said.

"this girl gets me," calum had a lazy smile on his face.

"you do know we've barely scraped the surface of her messages?" michael pointed out.

a thought suddenly occurred to ashton. "why hasn't she mentioned us?"

"what d'you mean 'us'?"

"i mean us, the band, 5sos, she hasn't said anything about us," he emphasised.

they all sat quietly for a moment. michael was the first to speak. "my account doesn't say anything about the band... and my icon is of this penguin picture that luke sent me-" luke smiled sheepishly. "-so she probably thinks that i'm a regular guy."

"that just makes it ten times better."

"but, does she even know about the band? she mentioned 1d but not us. i'm sure we had fans back in 2015," calum looked thoughtful.

"we have fans?!"

"i'm serious, i think she doesn't know who we are, like, at all."

everybody was quiet again.
