When Olivia Parker is found dead at a high school party gone wrong, it seems obvious who her killer was. Wesley Owens was found next to her covered in blood. Obviously, he did it. The question was why.

Police Station.
Transcript.
"Mr. Stevens please take a seat."
"You're questioning me? I didn't do it you can ask anyone I didn't do anything."
"Mr. Stevens you aren't being questioned about a role in what has happened tonight, you are not a suspect at this time. We simply have a few questions about tonight and then you may go. Is that alright?"
"I guess. Where's Harley and the others?"
"They're answering questions."
"And Wes?"
"Mr. Stevens where were you tonight?"
"Where's Wes?"
"I cannot disclose that right now, please try to answer my questions. How old are you?"
"Eighteen, I'm a senior."
"Have you committed to a college for next year?"
"Yes. Yale."
"Congratulations. That's very impressive."
"Thank you."
"Your parents must be proud."
"They are."
"Now, will you please tell me what you were doing tonight?"
"I was with everyone at the game and then the party."
"The party at The Green's?"
"Yes.
"Were there any drugs or alcohol."
"Yes, but I didn't have any."
"Did Wesley?"
"He had beer, but no drugs that I saw, he's not like that."
"I see, Did you go by yourself?"
"I went with the team but I met up with Olivia."
"And you're in a relationship with Olivia Parker?"
"Kind of."
"Kind of?"
"It wasn't official but I guess."
"I see. And Mr. Owens is your?"
"Best friend."
"So you're close to both sides?"
"Yes."
"I see. This won't sway how you tell anything will it?"
"Of course not."
"Would you mind telling me where you were when everything happened?"
"No. I was inside with Harley and we went outside to the bridge and found them."
"You found Wesley standing over Olivia?"
"Yes."
"Was there any reason you can think of that either Olivia or Wesley would be mad at each other?"
"I don't think so."
"Nothing had happened between them?"
"Well-"
"Yes, Mr. Stevens."
"Wesley and Liv had slept together. A couple of months ago, like during Christmas break, but I don't think they were mad at each other over it. I think it was just a hookup, but he was dating Harley then so I shouldn't have said that. Shit."
"That's alright. Thank you, Mr. Stevens you've been very helpful. You may go."

Hey Guys! Thank you so much to everyone who has read. We hit number ten in mystery-thriller yesterday and I freaked out I honestly cannot believe people like my work it's amazing!
