Rayne was at Anthony's door, she couldn't help but feel ashamed. She may have been the reason he surbived in the first place but now he was stuck there. With the government voiding their contract because of the human interaction she was explicitly told to avoid at all costs, he was stuck here. They likely would bring him in when they got their first chance as to keep any knowledge of aliens to a minimum one of two things would happen. They would let him go under forced contract that he'd keep his mouth shut otherwise hed be deemed a terrorist, or they would just kill him on the spot. The ladder of which was more likely so she felt it to be her duty to keep him here and alive. Vanessa:Rayne the ordered modules and resources are inbound to saved coordinates, shall I send drones? Rayne didn't even realize she was lost in thought. "No, that's alright I'll get them, I need as much fresh air as possible right now." She pressed the hidden pad and the door opened for her to see Anthony lying on the bed in the corner of the room. She sat on the edge of the bed and used her hand to brush his hair off his face. She couldn't help how she felt about him. She didn't want him to get caught up in her life, it was far to dangerous and scary sometimes even for herself. Anthony's eyes opened slowly but his gaze was already fixed on her. "Good morning" he said grogilly. "For you maybe, I've been hauling a body for the past hour" she said smiling. "Look, I've got to get a resource cache that's dropping in a few minutes, did you.... want to come with me? It's about a half mile out." She asked. Hoping he would say yes. She wanted alone time with him. Vanessa may be an AI but when she gets a personality she'll understand why they were acting so flustered. Just what she needed, to be pestered for her already awkward feelings. "Of course, but those 'things' are gone right?" He asked. Rayne couldn't help but giggle. "Yes, yes, I took care of the big bad monsters" she said still giggling. "No need to Patronize me, just don't wanna get killed." He said. "Heh, sorry, couldn't help it." She said rubbing the back of her head. "Well, we should get ready cause we got to go now if we want to get there before woodland creatures start clawing into it." "Right" Anthony said while getting up and fumbling into a new shirt and throwing on some shoes. Rayne couldn't help but watch him since she was already ready to go. While Anthony was fighting his shirt trying to get it over his head Rayne got up and walked towards him. As soon as his head escaped his shirt she planted a her lips on his and grabbed his shoulders. Anthony was still getting used to the idea that him and an alien might be together so it took him a second or two to kiss back. She broke the kiss and before she left the room She said "Meet me in the storage bay, we're gonna need a pack mule." She said smiling before walking out. Anthony was blushing while trying to tie the laces on his shoes. Anthony couldn't tell where his feelings were. He was afraid of the blatant issue where he couldn't just go home like he wanted, he didn't know if he would be safe. He was happy to have met Rayne and for things to be going as they were. What really had him worried more than anything was how he and Rayne were getting along, he found himself falling in love with this furred alien girl which he was actually happy with but he didn't want to lose her for any reason. She was a bounty hunter of sorts after all. She lived a life where her next moments could be her last and he didn't want to lose her, not after having met her.

He got himself together and headed into the storage bay where Rayne was unlatching what must have been a oversized power cord from the back of a four legged robot. It looked like it had the body of a lion, withought a tail, with the head being much smaller and sporting a singular camera and small antenna. Rayne merely flipped a switch and the machine hummed to life and stood straight up. It's camera panned over Rayne then it looked at Anthony, to which he felt uneasy. Sure Vanessa was a robot and saw him but this thing seemed cold and lifeless just staring at him. Rayne noticed how Anthony was a bit uneasy. "Don't worry it's not programmed to do more than haul cargo as a companion bot, yeah it could do some damage but only if it's told to do so." She Said "Oh, Vanessa give Anthony command rights." Vanessa:Done. "Vanessa, start installing that personality chip while were out, I'd like to meet you when your, how do it put it, more personable." Rayne said. Vanessa: It will be done Rayne, for future notice I will still be inclined to obey your commands as to clear any doubts. "That sounds like it's going to be interesting." Anthony said. "Yeah it's going to take some getting used too, well I guess not as much for you since you don't really know Vanessa but for me itle be quite a change." Rayne said. Rayne stretched her arms above her head and tip toed as much as she could on her paws. Anthony couldn't help but admire her figure and found every moment he liked more things about her. "Well, we should get going before it gets dark, but even if it gets dark that just means no one who wanders out here will see me taking advantage of you" she said while smirking. Anthony's face blushed blood red and Rayne started laughing "Don't worry, I'm just kidding, I wouldn't do anything to you that you didn't want." She said still giggling. Rayne pressed a button and a large set of doors swung down working as both a door and a ramp into the wilderness. Anthony followed Rayne out into the woods as the pack drone followed them closely keeping it's camera trained on either of them for commands.

Vanessa was watching them through the ships cameras as she always did, non judgmental, no emotion and no attachment. As bad as it sounds to anyone Vanessa wouldn't have any issues with losing Rayne it could just drift without contact for the rest of it's life and not feel anything about it. That was the beauty of being an AI. No worries. But that was about to change and Vanessa knew it, even so it wasn't bothered in any way but after the installation many things would begin to bother it. One thing it kept processing but found it couldn't comprehend even though it had seen it first hand in the people whom owned it was how experiences changed them. Soon Vanessa would gain personality and change aswell. The installation was running and along with it were files for a male and female android body with the installation running Vanessa could only focus so little but with the name Vanessa being more of a females name the female body was chosen. Vanessa set all of the ships programs to automated and shut down for the processing power. Vanessa was being installed with new data for a personality and a female android body was being built. The body resembled Rayne but not as a feline, this body was more canine in relation. Soon Vanessa would gain consciousness and appear in the body. Vanessa would become a 'she' and many things would be brought with it.
