Present - Mystic Falls

It has been 335 years since Niklaus Mikaelson's love fell into a sleeping curse, he has tried everything to get her back, with the price of going a tad insane. Over the years he had looked more into his curse, trying to distract his mind from his love. He had searched for Dame Gothel for years, but no luck. Every night, he'd go to her coffin, a kiss her forehead, telling her of what was going on in the world, as if she were awake to hear it all. He'd brush her now short hair, making sure it was nicely kept, just as she liked it. He'd bring her sunflowers, her favorite, resting them in the palms of her hands. Sure, Rebekah loved Rapunzel, but she didn't think she was ever waking up. She had given up hope, along with her brothers, as they watched Niklaus yearn for the woman to come back. They now resided in the small town of Mystic Falls. Niklaus had kept the coffin locked, afraid of his enemies taking his only love.

Mikaelson Manor
Elijah and Klaus Mikaelson sat at the dinner table with the two Salvatore's.
All Klaus Mikaelson wanted to do is rip out their throats for taking his family and his beloved Rapunzel. Niklaus had gotten but only three coffins back, Kol's, Finn's and Rebekah's. They had in their possessions, the two coffins that Klaus kept locked. His mother and his love. They had no clue what was inside the caskets, but they imagined them to be weapons against the Mikaelson's, and more importantly, Klaus. But boy, were they wrong. One is a weapon, and the other is leverage. Klaus would go insane without his love.

"Elijah, make sure Damon lives up to his word. Get those last coffins." He growled as he held the youngest Salvatore over the fire. "Tell me Klaus, what are in those coffins that mean so much to you." Stefan grunts. "It's none of your business, all you should know is that they're mine." Klaus growls. Klaus mainly wanted the winter white coffin, the one that had diamond engravings and a blue interior. The one that had held the love of his life. "Go ahead and kill me. I know you'll do it when they bring the coffins." Stefan spat as he grunted in pain. "You really have given up, haven't you? Where's the fight? Where's the ripper?" Klaus asked the younger vampire with a sadistic smile. Stefan pushed the original hybrid and he pushed him in return.

"Elijah, Why haven't you left?" Klaus says as he noticed his brother and the Raven haired Salvatore re-enter the room. "Where are your manors, brother. We forgot dessert." That's when one of the female servants walked in with a silver platter. Elijah lifted the lid to reveal the daggers that were once imbedded in their siblings. "What have you done?" Niklaus asked, his eyes enlarged. "What have you done? You see, I've learned not to trust your vulgar promises, Klaus. We're doing this on my terms now." That's when Kol, the youngest Mikaelson (alive, that is), enters the room. "Kol." Klaus says. "Long time, brother." Kol spat. Klaus begins to back away, but the eldest, Finn, appears. He grabs one of the daggers, stabbing Niklaus through the palm of his hand.
"Finn, don't!" Klaus begs. He tried to speed off in the other direction, but Rebekah appears. "Rebekah!" He yelled. Rebekah drives the dagger in his heart. "This is for our mother." She growled. She removes the dagger, letting him fall back into Kol's arms where Kol restrained him. "You're free to go. This is family business." Elijah tells the Salvatore's.

Lockwood Cellar Cave

The Salvatore brothers enter the old Lockwood cellar cave system, where they were currently holding the two remaining coffins. "Let's hope big witch and little witch got those coffins open." Damon says. "Something's gotta make this night worthwhile." Stefan replies. They turn the corner to see their witch friend on the ground unconscious. "Bonnie? She's still breathing." Stefan says, letting out a breath of relief. "Mamas still breathing. I can hear her." Damon claims. "One of the coffins are open." Stefan observes. "Well, it's not gonna do us any good. Whatever was in it is gone." Damon claims, noticing the empty coffin. "What about the other one?" Stefan asks. They walk over to the white coffin, lifting it slightly to see if it was locked. That's when it popped open and rays of light shined through. It blinded the vampires, them placing their hands over their eyes. Then, all of a sudden, there was a gasp. The light died down and they looked at who was in the coffin. There sat a beautiful woman, within her eyes they held innocence. "Who are you?" She questioned.

Mikaelson Manor
"I like what you've done with the place, Nik." Rebekah claims as she picks up a vase and throws it into a nearby painting. "I wanted it to be for all of us. A place we could all call home. A place we could all be a family. None of us would ever have to be alone again." Klaus says, his voice wavering. "Well, you're right. None of us will be." Elijah says, emphasizing us. "You're staying behind." Finn states, his posture straight. "We're leaving you, Nik. Right after I kill that doppelgänger wench, then you will be alone. Always and forever." Rebekah says, harshly. "If you run, I will hunt you down." Niklaus says, tears forming in his eyes.
"Then you'll become everything you hate. Our father." Elijah says. "I am the hybrid! I have nothing to fear from any of you!" Klaus yelled at his siblings. "You will when we have that coffin. And the other, well we will keep that with us... for safe keeping." Elijah says. Klaus face dropped at the thought of him taking his love. They all turn as they hear the door open. "Mother?" Rebekah gasped. They all moved to the side as she walked towards the hybrid who avoided eye contact. "Look at me! Do you know why I'm here?" Ester questioned her son. "You're here to kill me." He says with tears in his eyes. "Niklaus, you're my son and I am here to forgive you. I want us to be a family again."
