Why did it have to happen?? How could he let it happen?? Tony was sat at the bottom of his bed, head in hands, fighting the urge to cry; Peter was never going to forgive him, not after what he had just done. His head was still killing him, but the pain in his heart was worse. Let me take you back four hours......

Tony was having a terrible day, Pepper was making him go to thousands of meeting, do paper work, all of the other Avengers were  away doing their own things that day so he was on his own, and Peter was at school until four O clock do to some after school thing. So right now, it was 3:30 and he was bored as hell; he was in an office he had forgotten he even had, piles of papers that he was being forced to read and sign, JARVIS was ignoring him until he was done - unless there was an emergency of course. "Come on JARVIS, just play some music" he insisted for the tenth time, but still no reply "I'm your creator!!". Huffing, he took another gulp of his whiskey before refilling it; he had already had three beers and now he was onto the whiskey. After two hours more, he finally finished; if he was correct - and he always was - Peter would be home by now. "JARVIS, where's...the kid??" he asked, rather drunk "he's in his room sir, doing homework, shall I tell him to come to you??" the man shook his head "no no, leave him". Tony tumbled out of his office and made his way to the kitchen; he wanted another beer. It was well known the billionaire liked a few drinks, but he wasn't an alcoholic; he could say no to a drink if and when he wanted. Half an hour passed and Tony was - to put it short - smashed; he had drank more than he should. While he was listening to some music which was blurring out of all speakers in the common room; it was a good thing each room in the tower was sound proof.

Suddenly, the door to the lift opened; the ding couldn't be heard of course. Peter immediately covered his sensitive ears; he swore he was going to be deaf. The teen ran over to the stereo and turned it off, letting out a sign of relief as his ears didn't feel like bleeding anymore. "Hey, I was listening to that" Tony stated, swaying where he stood; Peter raised a brow before looking around. Bottles of different types of alcohol were scattered around the room; all empty. He then saw a half full bottle of beer in the billionaires hand; he then saw how Tony was trying to keep his balance. "You're drunk" Peter blankly stated, folding his arms; the man shook his head "no I'm not, this is...far from...drunk". A clear lie. Peter rolled his eyes "mhm, sure thing Tony" he went to grab the bottle from his hand, but Tony pulled back "what do you...think you're doing??" he asked, frowning at the teen; the kid tried again "you've had enough Tony, get a glass of water or a can of cola" he stated. They ended up weakly fighting over it and Peter was the winner "I'll get you a can, and some aspirin" he chuckled. But it wasn't amusing to Tony, he somehow marched over to Peter who had his back to him and grabbed his wrist tight and ripped the bottle from his grasp. "Ow, Tony let go!!" Peter hissed, grabbing the mans hand to try and get free from his harsh grip. The billionaire realised what he was doing and let go; he watched as the kid rubbed his wrist, staring at his guardian in shock and...hurt. "Peter I...I-" he didn't know wha to say, but it didn't mater; Peter turned and ran to the lift to return to his room.

And now we're back to the start, with Tony sat at the bottom of his bed, head in hands. How could he hurt the kid like that?? The hurt and...betrayal in his eyes completely scarred the man. The kid would never forgive him, but who could blame him?? Tony couldn't even forgive himself, how could Peter?? But he could try. Standing up, the man made his way into the lift and then into the common room; he grabbed a trash bag before gathering all of the bottles of alcohol in the kitchen, common room, his office and his bed room. After tying the now two large and heavy bags, he sent them down the trash shoot; now the tower was alcohol free. Tony was never going to drink again, not around the kid at least; he swore it to himself. Wincing, the man rubbed his head "where's the aspirin??" he wondered out loud; he looked but couldn't find it. Sighing, Tony just lay on the sofa and eventually fell asleep.

In the teen room, Peter was sat at his desk; he was looking at his wrist. It didn't hurt anymore thanks to his super healing, but he was mentally hurting. Tony, the man he was beginning t see as a father figure, had grabbed at him and hurt him. But he was drunk. Did that excuse it?? He seemed sorry and regretful afterwards. But he still did it. "Uhh!!" his thoughts were making him even more confused!! He had been sat at the desk for a while so Peter checked the clock on his bed side table; it read 6:45. That's when his stomach decided to declare it was hungry "well I can't just starve" he thought out loud as he stood. Peter was hesitant to enter the lift and to ask JARVIS to take him to the common room 'maybe he's gone down the lab, or his room??' he thought. Entering the room, Peter saw that....it was clean?!?! Looking around, all of the empty bottles were gone; he looked in the kitchen and couldn't find any alcohol anyway. Had Tony chucked it all out?? Looking back in the common, Peter saw the billionaire passed out on the sofa; he couldn't help but smile. "Sir couldn't find the aspirin for his head, so he took a nap" JARVIS informed, making the teen lightly chuckle "thanks JARVIS". Then "Tony felt terrible for what he did and cleaned out all of the alcohol in the tower" the kid didn't know what to say but fell deep in thought; Tony felt bad and guilty for getting drunk and hurting him. Smiling, Peter walked over to the man and draped a blanket over his body before getting a bottle of water and the aspirin; he placed it on the glass table next to the sofa, along with a small note he had written. Standing back up, the kid cooked some pasta and cheese sauce - enough for two - before plating it up; he put one of the dishes in the microwave and left a sticky note attached to it stated that it needed three minutes to reheat. He grabbed his own plate and returned to his room, watching the TV as he ate his dinner.

Tony's nap was rather long; three hours. It was now 9 at night. He rubbed his head as he sat up; the head ache was still there. Suddenly, something caught his eye; it was the bottled water and the aspirin "thank god" he mumbled. After taking the painkillers, Tony also noticed the note; taking another look, tears came to his eyes. The emotional note read "I forgive you" it was clearly Peter's hand writing; the man wiped his eyes and stood up. He entered the kitchen for more water when he saw the sticky note on the microwave; he looked inside before doing as the note said. Shaking his head as he chuckled, Tony wondered out loud "how did I ever deserve that kid??".
