Later when the sky was pitch black Lililan left to her dorm and Rebecca sighed into the ceiling as she sank in the chair.
Samuel walked up the stairs. Rebecca contemplated on walking up to his room to talk but decided against it looking at the time.
She touched her lips and sat back in the chair. The silence enveloped her in an unfamiliar way. It was colder now in the house than any other day and she think she knew why. The feeling of numbness filled her and she closed her eyes willing for sleep.
She stayed like that for a long time.
