Chapter 12
I turned off the water and opened the shower...and I couldn't help but gasp...
Standing right in front of me was Sonia with, what looked like, clean underwear in her hands.
I heaved a sigh of relief, I think Sonia noticed that I got a fright when I say her because she had an apologetic expression.
"I'm so sorry... did I startle you?" she asked with concern. I gave her a shaky laugh.
"I'm fine, just please knock next time."
She just nodded.
"Here I brought you fresh clean underwear." she said handing me them, in that second I remembered I was totally butt naked in front of her, I immediately grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me. I heard her chuckle.
"Katie, you do know I've seen many women and men naked." she said very amused, I couldn't help but laugh and turn red.
"Well I'm not really use to being naked in front of people..." I said shrugging. She just smiled and left.
I got dressed. For some reason I felt much lighter after that shower, it was like all the bad thoughts and everything that happened the night before washed away.
I walked out of the bathroom barefoot and into the room. Sonia was sitting on the bed waiting for me.
"Hey can I brush your hair?" she asked, I couldn't help but give her a smile and nodded, her face light up.
While she was brushing my hair, I took my chances in asking her some questions.
"Umm, Sonia can I ask you a few questions?" I asked, I felt somewhat nervous in asking her all this.
"Well of course." she said , I could hear the smile in her voice. And I must say the way she was brushing my hair would make me fall asleep...
"Are you a vampire?" I blurted, I heard her laugh.
"Oh no of course not, I'm human. My family has worked for this Royal family for centuries, so my sisters, brothers and I all work for this Royal family... And I do mean this Royal family because there is about 4 Royals in the super natural world, one of the Werewolves, one of Witches, one of Vampires, which is this family, and one that's a mixture of Vampire and werewolves.
"And before you ask, yes different supernatural creatures can mix together there is no law against that. All Super natural creatures help one another so it's only fair." she explained.
I was really surprised at how she kind of knew me since she answered most of the questions in my head.
"Umm, do vampires grow old?" I asked
"Well yes they do but it takes decades for them to grow really old, Mrs. Angelica and Mr. Raphael look really young but their about 6 centuries old. Philip is the oldest of their sons, his about 3 centuries , Manuel, his the blond boy, his about 2 centuries and a half , John his the one that looks mostly like Manuel, his 2 centuries and the twins Luke and Lucas are about a centuries. So they're all pretty old to us humans, and they last about 10 decade, maximum." she explained.
I couldn't help but gawk! They were so old! Wow.
I was really getting sleepy, the way she's brushing my hair just relaxes me. With in minutes after her explanation on how old vampires could get I fell into a blissful sleep...
Luke's POV:
After leaving Katie with Sonia Lucas and I made out way to the gymnasium.
I really thought Katie was going to die today, I wasn't really sure as to why my parents wanted to see Katie but I think I know why...
"So what you think of Katie?" Lucas asked, I couldn't help but give him and glare.
"Don't touch her." I warned, Lucas is very well known to meet new young ladies and taking them to his bed. Even though we're twins and look identical people can always distinguishing who's who, since his much more muscular than I am, but no matter how Buff he is I could still take him. Plus you would never see Lucas where a suit or dress formal.
"Oh come on brother! YOU know I always go for blonds! Their much more my type than brunettes. Brunettes are more your type." he said nudging me on the shoulder. I couldn't help but sigh.
Sometimes you really needed a lot of patience to be around this guy...
"Hey I'm not that bad!" he said defensively, oh and did I mention that he can READ MINDS!
Yeah, that's one of the gifts that he got, while I got the gift of leadership he gets the gift of invading privacy.
"Lucas please juts shut it." I said frustrated, from the corner of my eye I saw him node.
Now we were at the gymnasium, and I saw my group there. Lucas and I went our separate ways.
"Men." I greeted, they all greeted back with nodes.
"Soooo.... did she live?" Josh asked, I could see he was dieing of curiosity, I couldn't help but smirk.
Josh is my wingman, you could always trust him to do the job right but there's one thing we all hate about him... his worse then women when it comes to gossip or secret meetings.
"Josh, why don't you go look for Sonia? She'll give you all the answers." everyone in the group started laughing.
Josh man always ends up having a thing for human females, and right now he was trying to get Sonia's attention but his been fruitless. Looks like Sonia isn't interested in Vampires.
I really like Sonia, her family has been with my family for ages and I think the reason why Josh has a crush on Sonia is because when her mother was pregnant with her we had to evacuate the palace because some people weren't really.... sane...
So while on the run Maria, Sonia's mother was in her ninth month and every singel vampire prayed that her waters wouldn't burst while hiding. We had no such luck, little Sonia didn't really want to wait so when we got to a near by island her waters broke and my team was the only one accompanying her and her husband, since her children went with the other men.
Josh was the only one that had a medical degree so he ended up helping Maria give birth. And I must say, women suffer when giving birth, I saw it on Maria's face. But when after all the pain and a new living child is in their arms all the pain and suffering was worth it to them.
So yes, Josh was Sonia's little Doctor and he watched her grow and blossom into a very attractive young woman.
"Oh screw you! If you don't want to tell me then I'll just find her!" he said folding his arms across his chest, trying to buffen up even more then he was.
I couldn't help but laugh, "Dude calm down, she's alive! You can ask Lucas." I said pointing behind me.
Everyone nodded.
"So why exactly, did Queen Angelica and King Raphael want her?" Josh asked.
With that question, I sobered. I looked at each member of my group.
"I think we all know why...."

hehe i really hope you all like the chapters!! and sorry for uploading it so later but lets juts say that little people can't do anything on their own nor can adults!!! lol.. but moving on!!
