Where is she?

Jax's PoV

Throughout the next lessons, I was in deep thought. I had PE and I knew that I'd seen Shadow in this class before but when I looked she wasn't there.

It was then when I felt that something was wrong but ignored it, thinking nothing of it.

It's been two days now and Shadow hasn't shown up to school at all. I've been round to her house but she isn't there and I'm starting to get worried.

At lunch on the second day, I didn't feel hungry so I just sat by a tree when my phone buzzed.

"Hello?"

"Hi Jax, umm we have a small problem." The other person was Todd and he seemed really anxious.

"Go ahead."

"It's about the Scarlet Blood gang. They're back in town and some of us think that they have something to do with the disappearance of Shadow." Now that made me ten times worse.

"Okay, do have their location."

"Yeah sort of, you know that old house just on the outskirts of downtown, we think he could be there."

"Right let me get the guys ready and we'll be on our way. Cya." I hung up and ran to the boys, who had just come out of PE.

"Hey guys we need to go now." I was hopping from one foot to the other.

"Calm down dude, why do we need to go and where do we need to go?" Kayden tried to calm me down but it didn't work. I turned around to face a wall and began punching holes into it.

"The Scarlet Blood gang are in town, the rest think it may have something to do with Shadow's disappearance. Do you remember the time when we were kidnapped and taken to that old house on the outskirts of downtown, we think she's being held there." I felt my eyes start to become watery but blinked the tears away.

"Okay but how do we know for sure that they have Shadow?" Lance asked.

"Because she is not at home or at school."

"Yeah well she could be on holiday."

"Really Luke, she would go on holiday without her family. Are you that stupid?" I snapped at Luke a bit more harshly than intended.

"Sorry, I'm just trying to help. Geez you don't have to be so mean." Luke scowled at me but I returned with a glare.

"We have to get the gang together to deal with the Scarlet Blood gang and see if she's there." Everyone nodded in agreement.

There were a total of 20 main people but we had about 50 other branches. The Scarlet Blood gang had about 25 mains and only 10 branches so we had the upper hand in the numbers department. But they could make up the numbers by the sheer force and brain power that they had.

Later at the gang house, everyone was squeezed into the medium sized living room (when I say everyone one, I mean the entire gang and the branches included).

"Alright, so we have a situation where we have a missing girl and the Scarlet Blood gang are in town." There were a few gasps and others just nodded as if they knew what was coming.

"Okay but first, who is the girl and is she worth it?" Kurt wiggled his eyebrows but this was not a joking matter.

"Oh shut up Kurt!" Everyone shouted at him and he bowed his head in shame. Inside, I felt rage creeping it's way into my heart.

"I was thinking, what if Venom had taken her and wants her as a ransom? What do we do then?" Ty spoke up once the chattering had died down.

"Then he just declared war on the Pit Vipers." I said this and they all turned their heads towards me with a confused look. "Meeting dismissed!"

Everyone filed out the room, except for Luke, Lance and Kayden.

"Man what is up with you and Shadow, are you guys secretly dating or something?" Lance had the guts to say that, I'll give him that.

"I don't know bro but I can't get her out of my head." I confessed which made blood rush to my cheeks.

"Looks like someone has a crush." Luke teased.

"Shut up asshole." I punched him playfully, "Let's go find a plan then."
