You were out alone, like usual. You were jogging along the beach in your Nike sports bra and red adidas sweatshorts. You take a rest by a bench and just sit down.

The music in your ears blasts on and you chuckle as you rest your head on your hands. You pull out your phone and scroll through your playlist. You play Know Yourself by Drake and sigh.

Then you look up into two big brown eyes. You jump back and your heads collide. You clutch it and laugh. "Holy shit, excuse me.", you squint and look up.

"Hey, I'm Ethan.", he laughs with you and pulls you up. "y/n", you reply and smile. "And I'm sorry.", you add jokingly and he laughs.

"Good one.", he states and you start jogging with him alongside you. "So, What are you doing on this summer day?", he asks you and you think about it.

"Well, I was thinking about watching 'Love, Simon' after this.", you admit. "Then maybe Taco Bell, or In-N-Out. Then I'll sleep and watch horror movies.", you finalize.

"Oh, that's the kind of thing I do, when I don't go to school.", he says and you laugh again. "Yeah, that pain in my ass.", you smile. He pushes his hair up and continues to jog alongside you.

"You know, I've been excited for that movie too. Maybe we could catch it together?", he smiles one of his blinding smiles and you sigh mentally.

"Sure. What's that called? When you meet someone at the cinema alone? Something like in a calendar, no?", you joke and grin.

"Hm, da- something.", he fake thinks. "Date!", you squeal and you laugh together. "Yeah, that's right. Date.", he agrees and takes your hand.

So then you just jog, hand in hand.
