Chapter 17: Daniel

  ~(Y/N) P.O.V.~

It was another day, I thought, the dawn was here and David yelled over the speakers for something new and exciting to happen today. "Alright campers! Today is a new and exciting day, so be prepared!" David sounds way more cheerful than usual, he must have something big planned today then. "Uhh" Everyone groaned in unison.I hope it's not hiking, I had enough of that just trying to find Max yesterday. I sat up,looking at the sunlight coming from the crack in the tent flap. I looked at Max, who was surprisingly there. I got out of bed and walked over to Max. "Morning~" I cheerfully exclaimed. He stretched in his bed and tiredly replied back "Morning to you too." We both got out of bed and went to the mess hall. I walked in and noticed Nikki wasn't there. She'll show up eventually. Talking about people missing, there was also no Dolph,Space kid, Preston, or Nurf. Maybe they all skipped. We sat and waited to find none of the others showed up. "That's weird, Nikki should be hear by now" I said concerned. "It's a bit odd of her, but I think she skipped with the rest of them". Max replied and Neil agreed. David came bursting through the doors sweating "D-Did any off y-you see the other campers"! David stuttered. Everyone went quiet, there was no sound that made everything uneasy. Were...were we actually missing campers. I started sweating and thought of Nikki. Could she be hurt or kidnapped? I brushed it aside as Max kissed my cheek as a way of saying everything is alright. No one saw Max kiss me. David walked dizzyingly outside and forgot to close the door. Gwen came running in saying "Ok! I know what your thinking....and yes we don't know where the others went.. so we need all of you to stay in here for the rest of the day, until it's safe....we believe that he might be back." Who is this he? I looked over at Max to see him shutter in fear. David came in and closed the door behind him. It continued like this for about a hour or 2 when, everyone heard a knock on the mess hall door. Everyone went silent, we all knew the door has no lock, so the person could just walk right in. I went up to the door and put my ear on it to hear anything. There was just silence. I opened the door to reveal a note on the ground. I picked it up and closed the door cautiously. The note read
Im back~
Hope you missed me!
I have some of your precious campers.
Come and find me ,and you'll have the same fate.
I heard there was a new camper, they might need to watch there back!
~Signed an old friend~
I shuttered in fear by the words watch your back, that was directed towards me . I shoved the note to Gwen and looked away in fear. She read it and then crumbled it up in a ball ,then opened the mess hall door, just to throw it outside. She quickly closed the door and brought a fold up chair to the door, in which she sat in front of the door now. I sat back down by Max. As soon as I did, we heard another knock at the door, making Gwen jump out of her seat. Then a voice came, it said "Im back~" Everyone started to freak out, but it was still silent. Gwen pushed her body onto the door, just in case he tried to get in. The voice continued "As you saw from the note, I have some of your campers, in which you want them to return. But join me! We could take over the camp and then the world with the army slowly increasing." This person is insane, he wants to take over the world with teenagers! The voice continued "Fine, that how it is, I wasn't going to hurt any of you, but now I think I have to." What does that mean!? "Now" the voice commanded. The four windows shattered as rocks were flown through the windows. Max pulled me under the table, but one of the rocks hit me. What so special about these rocks? Well there very rigid, sharp,almost like coal, so I got all over me when it hit. It went straight to my face so I passed out.

~Time skip~

I woke up under the mess hall table. "ow" I muttered. I realized I was bleeding a-lot and it hurt like crazy. I managed to get myself up, only to find councilors where there. No one else. They ran over to and told me to sit, while they get the first aid. They got elastic bandage and put it over my shoulder and neck. We all decided to go outside, to see either the damage of what is or was outside. I slowly opened the door to no one there and it was dusk. Gwen quickly pushed me aside to look outside. She grabbed my hand and started running towards David's car. David was also running to the car. She put me in the back, while David tried to start the car. Of course, the car didn't start, it didn't even make a noise. We decided it would be best to stick in here for a bit. Not until more rocks went through the windows, getting glass all over me. I quickly got out off the ca. Rocks where still flying somewhere in the dark. So maybe, if they didn't see me, I could slowly run away into the woods. That might keep me safe. I hope Gwen and David are alright. I ran randomly into the woods,when I heard a familiar voice. "(Y/N)~" it called from the darkness, it was Max. It was dark, so I started to freak out, I think it might have already gotten Max. I went the opposite direction from where I heard Max. "You cant escape me~" Max voice echoed throughout the woods. It was closer than before, so he already knows where I am. Maybe if I cautiously walked, he might lose where I am. Or hold still for a few seconds to hear movement. I stood still and the moonlight crept through the leaves, making it calming since I could see. There was no movement, only the leaves in the wind. When I got hit in the side of the head, I passed out.
