Delayne, Kale and I managed to get over the gate before the bell rang for second period; unfortunately we weren’t able to sneak into class like we hoped. Waiting for us, at the end of the drive way to the school, Headmistress Vasilla and Mr Bishop both had their arms crossed and wore similar expressions of disappointment.

“My office.” Headmistress Vasilla said, through clenched teeth, “Now.”

The three of us, dropped our heads and walked slowly behind them through the grounds of Silva & Vargas, the campus was surrounded by a forest, so if and human was to stumble through them they would simply encounter an array of faerie and witch magic, forget why they were there, turn around and go back.

The driveway lead right up to the front of the admiration building, which led into the classrooms then dorms, the whole building was a large rectangle that circled a quadrangle. We all got the same disappointing look from the staff as we walked through the building and were lead to Headmistress Vasilla’s office. It was full of dark wooden pieces, as I recalled from my previous trips, setting another witch on fire, or being caught making out with an incubi behind the gym while I was supposed to be in AP potion making.

“I’m shocked,” Headmistress Vasilla said with a plain voice, there was no expression, she sat down on her leather chair behind her desk, Mr Bishop behind her, she was a witch and he was a werewolf so he always had this rugged look about him, which was heightened when he was angry. “Firstly, you snuck out during school hours. Secondly, you situated yourself in that atrocious place. Thirdly, I have reports of a young witch, matching your description from several witnesses that you opening used magic on a human tonight?”

The three of us couldn’t help but stifle a small laugh, me especially as recalled the image of his face transforming in front of me.

Headmistress Vasilla didn’t look amused, “this is no laughing matter Miss Delicor, if the human wants to press charges, you can have your powers bound for a quite some time. Not only that it can severely damage your score at the end of next year.”

I looked down, not because I was ashamed, but mostly because I wanted to laugh some more. Then I remembered.

“We were the only ones there tonight miss, Flynn, Koa, Vance and Drake were there as well.” Their surnames didn’t matter; she knew them by first name as much as she knew me.

“Well I’ll deal with them when they return,” she said with a flick of her hand.

“Miss, Flynn killed a human tonight.” There was a stark moment of silence that hung in there air as she processed my words.

“Did you see this?” She asked, her voice grave, werewolves had the highest number of murders to their names, more surprisingly when it wasn’t a full moon.

“Well…no…”

“Then you have no proof it was him-” Headmistress Vasilla said sternly.

“Miss we saw him leave the club with a human girl,” Delayne cut in, “Then we saw him leaving and alleyway, that we found the body in.”

“He had to have done it,” I said.

Headmistress Vasilla was silent for a few moments, and so was Mr Bishop, until she flicked her hand and gestured for him to come over to her, he bent down and whispered something. I couldn’t hear what she was staying, but when she was done he left straightaway.

There were a few more moments of silence, until she finally spoke, “Detention, with Mr Dreyfuss tonight.” She said, leaning back in her chair, “You may go,” she rubbed her forehead and swung around in her chair looking out the front of the school grounds.
