A/N: So, WOW! I didn't think that anyone would actually read this...but yeah. Thank you! You're the best. Seriously. Seventeen reads don't sound like a lot, but to me, it is. You, amazing reader, made my day. Be thankful you read that announcement. On with the story!

Previously:

I entered my bedroom and walked over to my door. Because I greased the hinges, the door swung open soundlessly. A strawberry blond guard was sleeping outside. I tapped his shoulder.

"Dex, I'm back!" I whisper shouted.

His head snapped up. "Did you have fun?"

Linh POV

After Will left the camp, the conversation quickly went to how Fitz was going to win the competition. I stayed quiet for most of the time because I couldn't help being jealous of Lady Sophie. She wealth, luxury, and Fitz Vacker pining after her. Fitz could deny it all he could, but I knew a lovestruck man when I saw one. And here I was, on a mission from the King who was absent, looking for his stupid heir who probably didn't exist, sitting in a forest, miserable.

There was a part of me that felt foolish that I had fallen for Fitz. True, I had felt even more foolish when I had told him how I felt. Needless to say, he didn't feel the same way. We've tried to move on, but things are still awkward between us. So tonight, I was feeling pretty jealous. Little did I know, Lady Sophie had it worse.

Pretty soon, a plan had been formulated. So that allowed Keefe to tease us mercilessly. Tonight, we were in for what Keefe liked to call "Spilling Secrets." I sighed in relief. At least this time, it wasn't "Dare or Dare."

"Before we start," Keefe announced, "we should come up with more possible theories on who the mysterious Will Scarlet is."

"Agreed," said Fitz. "I'd like to trust him, but he's too just too shady."

"Like Tam?" I smirked.

"Worse than Tam," said Fitz. "You can't even see the guy's face!"

"I didn't know there could be someone who's shadier than a Shade," Keefe said skeptically.

Tam just glared.

"Fine, keep your secrets," Keefe smirked. "Who haven't we listed as a possibility yet?"

"What about Lord Bronte?" Tam wondered aloud. "I mean, he is dark and brooding. And he's part of the nobility."

"Um," Keefe snickered, "have you heard the guy laugh? I hate to break it to you, but Will's laugh doesn't sound like a dying bird."

"Yeah, but-" Tam argued.

"Bronte has a much stockier figure," Fitz said. "Will has a smaller, leaner figure. Remember free ale night at Kesler's?"

"Yes!" Keefe and Tam's eyes lit up.

"He's not having it again, is he?" I asked, worried. Some of us got a little tipsy after free ale night at Kesler's.

"No, thank goodness," Fitz said.

"Well, what if Will is also one of Lady Sophie's guards or friends?" I asked.

"That's logical," Tam stroked his chin. "He did say that he was close with the Lady Sophie."

"See, but I like my idea of Lady Stina being Will Scarlet better," Keefe whined.

"Here we go again," I rolled my eyes. "Would you happen to gain something from that idea?"

"I dunno, Linh, you know all the ladies love me," he smirked.

"As much as we love your ego, Keefe Sencen," Tam snorted.

"Don't be a sarcastic moth, Tam," Keefe retorted.

"What the heck does that mean?" Fitz asked. "It makes no sense whatsoever,"

"It makes perfect sense," Keefe clutched his chest in mock hurt. "Are you questioning my sanity?"

"I question it every day," Tam snickered.

"Yeah, we'll see whose sanity is in check when Fitz has to kiss Lady Sophie," Keefe smirked.

Tam POV

Fitz's face turned so red, I thought that he might die of embarrassment. Secretly, though, my inner fanboy was screaming. Yes! Those two would be perfect for each other! I've been with Fitz when he swings by her tower after a nightly raid. Honestly, they are so oblivious, it's painful. Keefe and I have been planning their first date for...well, a long time. Even though he somewhat hurt my sister, he's still a good guy. And c'mon, we all saw that ship sinking from a mile away.

While Fitz was turning red, I accidentally squealed. I clamped a hand over my mouth. Everyone stopped mid-laughter/teasing and looked at me.

"Did you just squeal?" my sister raised an eyebrow. "This is too good."

"No, it wasn't that, it was just..." I stalled for an excuse. "The fire! Yeah, one of the logs moved, and the carbon dioxide released!"

Keefe smirked. "Mhm. Sure. It's ok to let out your inner fanboy, Tammy."

"I don't have an inner fanboy," I shot Keefe a dirty look.

"For the record," Fitz spoke, "I probably won't have to kiss Lady Sophie."

"But-" Keefe argued.

"Nope," Fitz said smugly. "Just her hand."

"How romantic," Linh fake swooned.

Fitz's smile vanished. "We have to figure out a way so that Lady Sophie is not forced into a marriage arrangement with Lord Tiergan."

"Ugh," said Keefe. "I can't even imagine...nope, my brain can't handle it."

"Don't worry, Fitz," I said. "We'll make sure you can marry Lady Sophie someday!"

"That's the spirit, Tammy!" Keefe wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"Yeah, whatever, Keefe," I rolled my eyes as he flicked my bangs.

"Ha! Your emotions say otherwise!" Keefe smirked.

"Ya'know, I'm really starting to regret having an Empath in our group," Fitz said, still blushing hard. "I'm going to get some sleep. Good night, guys."

"Night, Fitz," I said.

"They're so oblivious, it's killing me," I told Keefe when Fitz was gone, and Linh had climbed up into a tree for the night.

"I KNOW," Keefe sighed. "The last time we went to her tower, I almost barfed from all the sappy emotions. Seriously, how can Eternalia's most famous thief be so oblivious?"
