Wanda had Happy drive us to the cafe; the reason I loved it so much was because they had cats there and you could pet them after you ate.

You could also adopt a cat if you wanted to, but Tony didn't like cats.

There was one I liked in particular, he was a black cat with hazel eyes named Taz. He was found stuck to a glue trap in a warehouse somewhere.

I went to sit near the cat pen while Wanda got herself and I a croissant.

Taz was on his hindlegs pawing at my leg through the bars.

I was poking Taz's paw when Wanda came back over holding two hot chocolates and a plate with two croissants.

"That cat really likes you," she noted as she set everything on the table.

"His name is Taz," I told her as I turned my attention to her, causing him to mew loudly in complaint.

"Remind me why I listen to Tony?" I asked as I moved my leg for Taz to paw at as I attempted to pick at my croissant.

"Because he pays for your laptop and pays for you to eat here," Wanda told me as she took my fork and used the two forks to cut my croissant into pieces.

I sighed and waited for her to hand me back my fork, "Thank you," I told her quietly.

Wanda reached across the table and put a hand on my shoulder, "I know it agitates you," Wanda started.

I didn't let her finish, "I do not want to talk about it,".

Wanda moved her arm back to her side with a sigh before she started to eat her croissant again.

I could feel Taz's claws digging into my pant leg as I ate, but he stayed quiet.

Wanda and I ate in silence for a while, "So how did your last mission go?" I asked after eating half of my croissant.

Wanda looked up, "It was easy, Steve does not think I am ready to do anything difficult,".

I nodded my head, pleased with Steve, "I think Steve is right,".

Wanda rolled her eyes, "You are just overprotective,".

I ate another bite of my croissant and ignored her statement.

After I finished, Wanda followed me into the cat pen.

Taz jumped onto my lap and started purring as soon as I sat down.
