Chapter 14

Martins POV:
I woke up, I layed on the woods floor where I was before.

I stood up quickly to see her, dressed beautifully, like a goddess.

She sat on a tree branch.
"Rachel?"

She looked and smiled, she gracefully climbed down.
She slowly walked towards me, her movements making her look even more beautiful than before.
She stood in front of me looking down at her twidiling fingers.
"Hello Martin"
Her voice a whisper.

I didn't waste a second hugging her, I could sense the hesitation before she hugged back
I felt my tears spill down my face.
"Your not leaving me, I love you too much to let me go"
She pulled back and wiped the tears from my face, her hands felt like pure silk across my skin, small tingles danced across my cheek.

"Martin, you know I can't stay,"

I felt a tear fall,
"But I love you"

Her eyes watered as she smiled weakly.
"And I love you"

"Don't say that like your saying good bye"
A small command in my voice.

"And Im going to miss you the most, And the future we might of had together"
Her small voice turned into a crumbling mess.

"And your willing to sacrifice that?"
I tried to hide the hurt and pain, but my wall was slowly and barely holding up.

"Sometimes we had to make these sacifices"
Her eyes red with holding the tears.

I held her close and whisperd in her ears and tears that held evry emotion fell.
"No, I won't let you go, I won't"
I refused to let her go.
We stood in mere silence, she pulled away and slipped her hand into mine, guiding us to a small river that lay by, we sat cuddled up next to eachother in a peaceful nature.
My heart and Wolf in happiness.

She whisperd.

I looked down as her to see her wiping away small tears that kissed her skin.
"I made a mistake."

Tears started to fall quickly;
"I wouldn't change what I did. Im so fucking selfish. Im sorry Martin and.."

She was right, she couldn't change the fact she was dead, my angel and beauty was dead.

I sat up away from her, something changed within me. Something I remember.
"Rachel, do you still love him?"
The atmostphere changed, it turned tense.
She looked at me with pain in her eyes.
But she never replied.
"I loved you, and you rejected my every move so you wanted to be with him?"
A tear fell down her face, it kill me that was causing it.
"You know thats not what happened and you know it!"
She begged.

I felt my anger fuel up.
"I spent my entire life thinking I wasn't as good as him and you know it! and your that one person, the one person who made me think that maybe I was!"
My hurt was dripping through the cracks and my anger was blatant.
"Martin--"

I smiled and huffed.
"So the whole thing was just a lie huh?"

"Martin--"
I stood up and walked back, she sat on the floor.
"Do you know how you made me feel? I loved you and I adored you!
When I saw you were with him, it made me feel stupid and worthless and that Im never right!"
I shouted.

Her face scowled.
"But you know what I realised ITS NOT MY FAULT!?"
My anger was everywhere.

I sat down with my knees to my chest.
"At school Rachel I wanted you to care about the way I felt towards you!"

She sat their emotionless,
"I--"
I looked at her beautiful eyes, they held so much hurt and pain it killed me.
"At school? The bullying? I didn't want you to accept that like it was the way it was supposed to be"

I grabbed her soft hands and held them, her face was speechless and so many emotions pooled into her eyes.

I was the cause of those.
