Chapter three: what your heart is telling you

You had gone to visit Leo that day and he wasn't his normal self he seemed off

One he was ignoring you

Two he was lost in some other world like his sapphire eyes that are usually focused on you were off in space

Ok you know what you were done

You walked over to the turtle in spaces as he poked at the dead fire clearly not even realising that it was dead as you placed your hands on his shoulders and shook him "Leo!" You yell

That snapped him out as he looks at you shocked before relaxing and his sapphire eyes returning to how they usually were to you

"Leo what's wrong?" You asks

"It's nothing Y/N it's not important"

"If it has you like this then yes it is"

"I said it's not important"

"Leo please I wana help!"

"I said leave it alone!" He said as he turns around throwing a katana at you and barley missing

"Y-Y/N I didn't mean it!" Leo says walking to you

You stand up and look at him slightly afraid but still persistent

"Leo tell me what's wrong!" You say as you hold his shoulder

He sighs as he looks at you "an old friend of mine from the city came to visit she told me about my brothers and how they need me to go home but i can't go back home Y/N"

"What Leo this is your family!" You say looking at him straight in the eyes

"The people here need me more that my brothers" he says as he pulls out of your grip and starts walking away

"We will survive this is your family!" You say

"What about you!" He yells as whips around grabbing your shoulders

You look at him in shock as he looks deep into your E/C

"I'll be fine" you say looking down

Honestly you didn't think of that

You know he muses his family the way he talks about them to you you can tell he misses his family

You grab his shoulders "Leo chill I'll be fine I have my training ate least and we can send letters to each other" you smile trying not to tear up

Leo looks at you sadly before cupping your face "Y/N it wouldn't be the same"

You tear up as you nod "I know but I'm trying to do the right thing Leo"

Leo looks down at you sadly before he lights up "Y/N come back to New York with me!" He smiles
