Chapter six: Nightwatcher

You were amazed

You didn't think you'd ever stopped being amazed

And you didn't want to

You were jumping the roofs of new your city with the four brothers. In the short time you've been here you've been able to form small but strong bonds with the two younger brothers Mikey and Donnie but it still bothered you how distant Raph was you thought he just didnt like you but Donnie assured you he was just like that. Speaking of in the two days you've been here with the turtles you've been able to grow close to Donnie, he was fascinated from where you were from but never being able to go there so you showed him your drawings and photos and even small things you brought over, you lived the way his eyes lit up of how he smiled at the smallest little details. Then there was Mikey, Mikey was extremely hyper like next leave hyper, he in joyed looking and your drawings just as much as Donnie except he focused more on the ones of animals (you could tell he was a bit of a nut) but after spending time with him you learned about his layers, he didn't have to tell you you could see it, with his brothers Leo and Raph so divided you could tell he took it apon himself to be the lighthearted always happy and lighthearted goofball even if he didn't always feel like it.

You shook those thoughts out of your head as the brothers stopped on the roof and you came to a stop with them, you look out into the bright streets of NYC

"Hay what's with girly" Raph says his gruff voice getting you attention as you turn to him

"She grew up in the middle of a jungle Raph she's never seen this kinda stuff" Donnie says

Leo shakes his head "she has been training more than you three though I suspect" Leo says his arms folded

"Hay dude I've been training my scores have like tripled since you left" Mikey smiles

"That's great and while you've been playing games little brother this nightwatcher has come round like some vigilante showboat" he folds his arms "but his days are over"

"Hay!" Raph says

Your attention is immediately on Raph "the nightwatcher was the only one to pick up the slack, crime never took a break" he gets in Leo's face "you did"

Your eyes widened as you remember what the girl April said

"He just sleeps all day"

"What does he do all night?"

Your attention comes back when you feel those eyes again. You look directly into Raphs green eyes that were staring intently back at you

"I hear he has like jet backs, Donnie how come we don't have jet packs" Mikey asks

You snicker at the question as Raphs eyes widen he became scared at the thought that went through his mind and shook it off

"Yah right I don't even trust you with a drivers licence, have you seen how this guy" a sudden roar echoes through the night shaking the ground Mikey falling from his perch hanging upside down on a pole. And you, you couldn't have picked a worse time to be standing but the edge of the roof. Your foot slips as a green hand grabs your wrist. You look up.

Those emerald eyes every time. Leo's were fierce and certain but his they were so layered as if every emotion was held in his eyes at the same time.

"Watch it your not in the jungle anymore" he smirks

You let out a small laugh as he pulls you back to your feet before looking where his brothers were

"Wow someone's cranky" Mikey chuckles

"Ok jungle boy grab a vine" Raph laughs as he moves

"Wait! Splinter told us not to fight!" Leo calls out

Mikey laughs as him and Donnie follow "jungle boy" Mikey snickers

You look at him with sympathy before the two of you follow

Your were able to balance on the pole like you were walking on the ground, true the turtles were also good at this but your were moving so fast you were almost running

"Dudette how" Mikey yells over at you as you grab onto a pole universe you hoisting yourself into the building "like Donnie said I'm from the jungle" you smirk as you put your hand out helping Raph up "you should go sometime it's helpful"

He smirks back "jungle girl"
"Nightwatcher" you whisper back as you continue to run further leaving Raph their shocked as his brothers caught up and...
