Cheaters Never Prosper (Pt.1 of 3)

(Ray POV)

After turning in my work, I hit up the library. Which is weird, ‘cause…I never come here. But, I needed a quiet place to think. What better place than the library? So…while I thinking, I was also drawing. I loved to draw, it’s a big passion of mine. Right next to dancing. I was at the library for about 10 minutes, chilling when hands covered my eyes.

“Bet cha’ can’t guess who I am.”

 I thought about it. Domi? I took a silent breath. Uhm…no. I’d know Domi’s perfume anywhere. This scent was different. Familiar…but different. Then…it hit me. “Danielle.” I said, brushing her hands off my eyes. She smiled, sitting across from me.

“Haven’t heard from you in a while.” She says.

 I shrug. “There’s a reason for that.”

 She frowned playfully. “You don’t miss me?”

 “Not really.” I said.

She got up, I thought she was leaving, but she planted herself in my lap. She whispered in my ear, in this voice that turned me on. “I know you miss me, Ray.”

 Damn. Damn. Damn. Think with your brain Ray…not your dxck.

“Let me please you….” She continues. “Give into the temptation Ray…”

(Domi POV)

I walked into school with Zee, Ty, and Cha. We were laughing at how Ty almost splilled her coffee trying to look at this cute guy.

 “Don’t judge me, okay?” Ty laughs.

 “We’re trying.” We laugh.

 Sydney walks up. “Hey.”

 “What’s up?” We asked.

 “Zonnique, I told Trey off about messing with you. I am so tired of his childish attitude towards you.”

 “Syd, it’s cool. I’m over it.” I smile.

 “You should chill with us. You seem like cool people.” Zee says.

 “Sure. Soo….do we all have nicknames? Or…?” Syd asks.

 “Nique.”

 “Zee.”

 “Ty.”

 “Cha.”

 Syd nodded. “Syd.”

 We laughed.

 “Whose homeroom you got Syd?” I asked.

 “Griffey.” She said.

 Ty sucked her teeth. “That’s Criag, Ace and Jake home room.”

I laughed. “Where is Ace?”

 “Here he come. With Jake and Craig.” Syd says, pointed.

 Ace, Craig, and Jake approached us.

“Hey.” They said.

“Hey.” We reply.

We all chatted and chilled out until the warning bell sounded. Then Zee, Cha, Ty and I head to home room. I take my seat and look around. Hm…I wonder where Ray is.

“Where’s your boyfriend?” Ty teased.

 I rolled my eyes. I knew I shouldn’t told them I liked Ray. “He’s not my boyfriend.”

 “Yet.” Zee and Ty said, smiling.

 “You looove him.” Zee says.

 “No I don’t.” I said, ducking my head.

 “Ooh! She blushing! She definitely looove him!” Zee says.

 They laughed.

 “Stop teasing her.” Cha says.

 “Thanks, Cha.” I said.

 She smiles.

 Ray walks in with Trey, they were cracking up.

“That’s cray.” Trey shakes his head.

 Ray smiles. “I know right. Hey, ladies.”

“What’s happening?” Trey asks.

 “Not much.” We reply.

 Ray looked at me, obviously checking me out.

 “You wanna put your eyes back in your head?” I asked.

 He smirked. “You got jokes now, Domi?” He says.

 “Domi?” The girls said.

 “That is soo cute! He has a nickname for you!” Cha says.

I looked at Ray. He winked at me as the bell rings. Trey and he take their seats as Rina and Sara walk in.

 “Guess she doesn’t know that he’s playing her. Dani told me they went at in the janitor’s closet.” Sara said.

 Rina shakes her head. “Pitful.” They take their seats.

 Were they talking about Ray? If they were…who’s Dani?
