Your POV

Probably about... five minutes I get too bored of waiting for my mother, I decide to get up to explore the office a bit, I'm sure she won't mind. Standing up, I make my way around the couch, my hands going around everywhere, touching this and that. "Y/N what are you doing?" You suddenly hear your mother's voice which almost gave you a heart attack.

"You scared me! I was exploring.. you took too long.." you sighed a sigh of relief. Your mother stifled a laugh. "Well, if you were that bored perhaps you could come with me, we're going to study an SCP.." I walked towards the sound of my mother's voice grabbing her hand. "Sounds fun!" She laughed at your enthusiasm. "You have to promise me something first." You nodded, slightly confused. "Good, you can't tell anyone about the things you hear, okay? This is all very secretive things that other people can't know about." She had a serious tone in her voice so you knew she meant it. You nodded, "Okay, mom! I promise not to speak a word about this place to other people!" She nodded and grabbed my hand, "That's my girl.."

We started down what I assume is a maze of hallways, left, right, straight! So confusing.. when you finally got there there were a lot of voices, some discussing the 'SCP' others discussing whether or not I should be here. The gruff male voice would say things like 'She might get traumatized by the thing.' I'd respond with 'Sir, I'm blind, the only thing that I'd get traumatized by is it's noises, and I doubt that'll happen.' Or 'She might tell her friends about it.' My mother would say. 'She doesn't have friends.. she's homeschooled...' I'd nod.

After awhile of arguing the male voice finally sighed and let us through. Apparently another scientist told him to give it up, the experiment is about to begin. I was getting exited honestly, I'm just bummed out I can't see it. A voice boomed out of what I assume to be an intercom, telling us that a 'D-Class' was entering the containment area. The D-Class sounded like a nice young girl, probably in her early twenties.. of course my mother told me that the D-Class were put in death-row, not entirely sure what that means.

The voice from the intercom came back telling her to not look at SCP-096, I think that's the creature, must be self conscious.. after a while of her not looking and walking around she must've peeked at 096 or so I believe because my mother whispered under her breath, "She looked at it.." in a matter of seconds I heard something inhuman scream.. the D-Class was begging to be let out.. that she didn't want to die. The screaming happened for about two minutes before tearing sounds could be heard. My mother covered my hears after the first ripping sound though.

After a couple minutes she uncovered my ears and ushered me to follow her by grabbing onto my hand. "The.. the poor girl died.. didn't she?" I asked after a few seconds of walking. My mother sighed and said something incoherent. I didn't bother to ask again. I kept thinking about this 096 wondering why it did this, how it looks, thinking 'it' wasn't right 'it' sounded more like a 'he' I sighed. I had a headache after this much thinking.

My mother groaned as we got back to her office, she seemed to have sat down. "Dear, I'm going to turn in these reports on.. 096. Please just sit on the couch and be patient." I found the couch sitting on it "Okay mom.." I sighed once again, now I had to wait forever!
