Your POV
After calming down a bit me and Shy Guy got a move on. He was rather slow oddly enough. I would sometimes accidentally bump into him so I knew how long his arms and legs were, making me wonder why he was slow. He'd stop me from bumping into doors and walls which was nice.
After awhile of walking, Shy Guy some how knew I needed a break and sat down, making sure he notified me we had stopped. Such a gentleman. Putting the backpack down, I opened it up for a drink of water, making sure I didn't take a lot of it. Who knows how long we'd be stuck here, roaming these endless hallways and corridors.
Being the person I am I asked him if he wanted some, "Do you.. want a sip?" He pushed it away signaling 'no' I just nodded and put it away. Leaning against him, I yawned. He mumbled something but quickly stopped, I get the feeling he can't speak for whatever reason. "Can you not speak?" I half whispered. He took my hand and motioned it in a 'no' manner. "Hm, okay." I simply put. "Do you mind if a take a short nap?" He shook it again. "Alright.." I yawned and closed my eyes. Falling into a deep slumber rather quickly.
~Time skip brought to you by... Shy Guy dancing!~
I don't know how long I've been asleep for, but when I woke I felt a presence in front of me. Shy Guy was making a weird snoring sound beside me so it wasn't him.
Looking up it seemed to make a weird.. concrete shuffling on metal sound. I didn't know what to do exactly other then sit there, silently hoping it'd go away. Unfortunately it didn't, it seemed like it was just pacing, waiting for me to acknowledge it or something.
Sighing and gaining my wits, I whisper a small, "Hello..?" Trying not to wake Shy Guy. It stopped shuffling, seemingly turning around to face me. "Do.. you need help?" I continued to whisper to it. It made another shifting like sound. It seems not many of these creatures can speak. Not very good news for me.. "Can't speak either? Hm.." I tried to devise a plan.
There was more scraping sounds, and like that the presence was gone. Shy Guy stopped making his weird snore like noises so maybe the SCP went away because he was waking up. I might never know, I don't even know if I want to. Shy Guy seemed to stand up, seemingly making sure I was awake before leading me farther down the hall. I really hope we find my mother soon.. I don't want him to get in some sort of trouble though. I wonder if he knows the risk he's putting himself into...
