I sighed as I shifted in my bed

'How could Kali be so good at magic without training or heritage in the matter...'

I tossed once more and flinched at a mound creaking sound that followed

'Was that me?'

I sat up silently and froze seeing an empty bed

I looked at the remaining six sleeping girls and checked

'Kellana, Miana, Rizu, Megami, Aliccia, Iana, myself and...'

I looked at the bed that should have been hosting the Greek girl

I stood up and looked around

I froze looking at the window...
Open with a feminine silhouette leaning against its frame

"Kali?" I muttered

"Did I wake you?" Kali frowned looking back at me

"No...what are you doing?" I said in a hushed tone

"Preparing for a flight" Kali said calmly

"What?!" I snapped before coving my mouth

"Relax...they sleep heavy, as do you... you didn't even wake when I dropped a mirror" Kali muttered as she turned to face me, holding a small shard in her hand

"Whatever, stop being weird and come away from the window, you'll fall out" I glared

"Really? I doubt that matters" Kali said tossing the shard to land on her bed

"At least...unless you want to see something magical" Kali smirked as she fell backwards or of the window

"KALI?!" I shouted as I leaned over the window seeing darkness below

"Doesn't she know how high up this is?" I mumbled as I scrambled my mind for a spell that would light the area and save Kali but froze seeing a flash

I stepped back as Kali shot back up and land her foot on the window ledge as the rest of her stood suspended in the air, holding out a hand

"You know...Ascendo could use longer effects wouldn't you agree? In my home we say 'enaiórima' to make ourselves fly...give it a try?" Kali smirked pushing back as she floated in the air

I stood on the edge and glared

"Enaió?" I glared

"enaiórima" Kali repeated

I sighed and gasped as Kali pulled me off the edge

"enaiórima!!" I screamed as I braved for impact on the ground and slowly looked up seeing Kali smiled as I floated only slightly below her

"...you speak best...in...fear" Kali smiled

I frowned seeing we had pasted the language line

"Fine...then let's at least see how this works" I sighed as Kali smiled wide

Kali relaxed herself as she began to descend, followed by a face of concentration making her rise

I nodded and found myself in full control of the new power

Almost as soon as it had begun I felt the small light of dawn approach as we neared the widow

"Time to go back...well I guess that was fun" I scoffed

Kali smirked and nodded

We entered the room and a gust of wind left us as we passed the window and we returned to gravity

Kali sat down and pulled her covers up to herself

"This stays between us" I scoffed and Kali rolled her eyes as she nodded

I sat down and pulled it my notebook, making notes of the spells

One last glance at Kali conformed she was asleep, much like the other residents of the room

I sighed and stared at the small shard Kali gripped in her hand

'Perhaps I shall question her soon...not yet'
