First lesson

Kali POV

I pulled my tie to my neck and straitened my skirt for the school day

"I never will be wearing those things, good thing I've got these" Rizu smirked fixing the waistband for her trousers

"Just get over it will you?" Cathrine scoffed

"Girls you will be late if you keep talking. Hurry to your classes"

We looked around and saw a small creature

"Oooo, it's the animal things that look over the students" Kellana smirked

"Kick it put I'm still changing!" Miana snapped

Rizu kicked it out and smirked

"Done" Rizu smiled

We took our seats and I sat close to the front as I could, Rizu and Cathrine either side of me

"Hello students, I'm Miss Caret, I'll be teaching you spells. Now let's begin with some introductions"

As the students started introductions I stopped and gasped realising I could hardly understand the teacher

I raised my hand and the teacher looked over at me as one of the students stopped

"Yes?" Miss Caret smiled

I tired to form words and Rizu cut me off

"This is Kali, She's the Greek student" Rizu smiled

Miss Caret thought for a moment

"She's having trouble following what everyone is saying more likely" Cathrine smirked

Miss Caret nodded

"Is there anything I can do?" Miss Caret thought

Cathrine smiled and nodded, opening her notebook

"This is a Greek spell. It's like Age line but for languages, anyone within the line will understand one another perfectly regardless of their means of communication" Cathrine smirked

"I see" Miss Caret smiled petting Cathrine on the head

Casting the spell, her voice seeming deafening to the ears, was a mess but was effective as the thin line surrounded the class

"Kali?" Miss Caret smiled

I stood and bowed

"My name is Kali, like the Greek god. I just moved here due to my supposed magical potential. I struggle in English and hope to improve and speak to you all soon. Feel free to ask me about Greek spells and I hope to be introduced with you all within the means of the school year" I smirked

I sat down as the teachers jaw dropped

I smiled and bowed my head

"All right then, Miss Granger?" Miss Caret smiled

"I'm Cathrine Granger, as in Hermionies younger sister. I am skilled in magic and potions and I hope to know you all well and gain many skills in my time at Hogwarts" Cathrine said quickly and sat back down

"And you must be Rizu Weasly" Miss Caret said pointing at Rizu

"Yup, the youngest so far, my brother was Ron, and I can't wait to show my brothers George, Fred, Ron how successful I'm gonna be" Rizu smiled

"Amazing . Now let's start the lesson before we're late to the beginning of class" Miss Caret smiled as she began writing spells on the board and explaining, with lots of class participation

Throughout the lesson I could see Cathrine doing everything without hesitation, as if she already knew a good portion of the material which she possibly did

Rizu on the other hand was better at the wacky spells at the time and had some...interesting mispronunciation

Me? I'm ashamed... every spell I casted I couldn't get it write... Cathrine even corrected my pronunciations in English and I still wasn't getting something, I was practically snapping my wand in two

"Alright class, that will be all. Study well and I'll see you tomorrow" Miss Caret smiled

I sighed in releasing the tension in my shoulders and exited the room, in bare hope not to see the faces of my classmates who had thought so highly of me...
