Winter sets in

Kali PoV

I didn't end up wearing the scarf that much...

As it began getting colder the quidditch team became an amazing experience

As a seeker I was really good, my fastest time being around 10 minutes to get the snitch and might I say Rizu has a great swing

It was time by now, freezing cold but it was time.

I polished my broom and headed towards the pitch

"Wooo we got this!!" Rizu said proudly

"And the first match of quidditch will start with Slytherin and Griffendor with one of our youngest members yet on both sides"

We flew onto the pitch and I looked over the other team and froze

Nathan was a beater...

I gulped and looked at the stands where I saw the twins Louis and John with a man...tall, black hair and a dark tone that made it to his ankles

"Oh my god Snape's here!" Rizu waved loudly

"Who?" I muttered

"He was a teacher here up until a few years ago after he adopted those two boys and took up a job in a potion class and a side job in defence against the dark arts. All the kids in Slytherin love him despite how cold he is but he loves a good game of quidditch really" the team captain explained to me before heading off to their position as I processed what she said

I look down and see Mr Bram release the four balls and toss the quaffle

I snapped to attention and searched the pitch for the snitch

I see it going up and I start following it without the other seeker even spotting it

I race upwards and stopped dead in my tracks as I dropped back down again

I groaned and raced back down

As I chased and chased I caught sight of the other team

"Another 10 points to Slytherin! That's 60:10!"

I gasped and growled

'How did that happen so quickly?!'

I had my answer within a second as I saw Nathan

He was a sting man, I'll be it, but I didn't realise he was so aggressive in the game. He could have easily knocked out anyone of our team and he was super fast, must've had the fasted broom...

I snapped back out of it and continued

I had the snitch in sight again and kept going, ignoring the background noise of the other team gaining more points

I pushed myself onto my feet as I followed the snitch forward as I saw a team mate not far ahead

I took a breath and jumped up and off of my broom, grabbing the snitch and limiting downwards

I held my breath and grabbed my broom as I collided with it once again

I rode to the floor and couches on the ground as no one even noticed

"Yah!!" I yelled holding up the snitch

"Oh my goodness!!! Kali caught the snitch without us seeing it!"

I panted and looked at Nathan

He looked exhausted and I laughed slightly to myself

"Better luck next time" I giggled as snow began falling

Cathrine PoV

I smiled as I walked down the corridor and saw Professor Snape

My sister had told me about him and I wanted to at least speak to him

I jogged over and tripped at the back of his feet and I gasped seeing I had dropped my wand next to his robe and it had sparked a small flame on the bottom of the robe...

"Dad your robe!!" One of the identical sons shouted

I stood up with my wand and withheld a giggle as Snape stamped on the edge of his robe

"Once again a Granger has set me ablaze" Snape scoffed

"Heh heh...please don't hate me" I laughed

"If I still had power that would be 10 points from Griffendor" Snape sighed

"But you don't do you won't?" I said hopefully

Snape rolled his eyes and nodded as he began walking away with his two sons laughing behind his back

"Welp there going first impressions" I laughed

I walked down the hall and smirked

"Worth it"
