James's POV

"JEMMY! GUESS WHAT MUSICAL IS COMING TO TOWN!!"

" Let me guess, Heathers."

"IT'S HE.. how did you know?"

I sighed. "Because that's all you ever talk about nowadays."

"Oh." Thomas looked at the ground sheepishly. "Whoops."

"It's fine Thomas. Now what were you saying?"

Thomas's face lit up. "My cousin Lafayette had two extra tickets, so he gave them to me! Would you like to come?"

Wait, was Thomas asking me on a date? I had had a crush on him all year, but I never thought in a million years he liked me back.

"You mean as just friends, or...?"

Thomas's face fell. "Well, I wanted it to be a date, but if you want..."

"No!" I said quickly. " That's fine! When are we going?"

Thomas grinned. "This Saturday!" He then proceeded to skip into the other room and close the door.

I heard yelling coming from the room.

"YEEEESSSSSS!!!!!! HE SAID YES! WHOOOO!"

A smile was plastered on my face. I was going on a date with Thomas!
