In light of what has come to fruition regarding Ameer and his past, I no longer feel comfortable writing about and supporting this band. These are issues that have affected me and continue to be a part of my life and it's too painful to ignore. I can't continue with this book because of my mental health, because of my morals, and because of the people I love. I refuse to be an enabler in this situation. I hope you can understand why I feel this way. I gave them some time to address the matter appropriately and they failed to do so. This boyband that I loved, that made me feel valid and heard, that was so special to me, now means nothing. The memory of what they used to stand for is what I will hold close to my heart, but I can't go on with them in my life anymore. I love you all so much, and I'm here for you if you want to talk, but as a writer I am officially done updating this book. Thanks for being a part of my journey.
