Riley's POV
How could he, my own dad, he's making me kill a human being. ugh i hate him so much. This is my body and he can't make me kill a human being. i will keep this child even if it means living in the streets. I can't believe my dad was such a jerk, i just want to punch him in the face. That was so not cool.
"riley" dad said, with the dissapointment in his voice
"go away dad" i said, i wasn't in the mood to talk to him
"Riley?" mom and maya said, at least it wasn't dad " we just want to talk to you, can we come in?"
"ok" i said
"how are you feeling" mom said
"what do you think! my own dad to me to kill a human being, he almost killed my boyfriend! "i said in a serious and upset tone. honestly i'm not in the mood to be happy
"don't take your anger on your mom, she's just trying to help you" maya said
" you're right, im just upset with dad, i'm sorry mom"
"it's ok, i get it, your dad made a mistake and he wants to apologize. And you also have the right to be mad and feel that way, I would feel like that if Shawn ever told me that" maya said
"sweetie, your dad didn't mean to say it, he is worried and he doen't want you getting hurt. He cares a lot about you and Lucas. Remember when you, maya, and lucas were in the love triangle, (riley nods) well your dad was so scared you were going to get hurt because of that and he was crying for endless days. Thats how much he cares about you. " mom said
"what does this has to do with this (pointing at stomach)" i said ,honestly i was so confused
"let her finish" maya said
"thank you, ok, this involes sacrifice and letting go. You see when the triangle was involved, you wanted Lucas to be your brother and letting him go to maya was hard but easy to probably solve the "problem", but it didn't. He didn't want to be your brother. But he respected your decision. It's the same. Your dad doesn't want to let you go to Lucas because you are our 1st born daughter and 17 yrs ago you came, so time flew by real fast. "
"Don't forget about what happened in new years, at midnight FARKLE has to yell out your secret, which wasn't right, i saw the way he looked at you when you were with charlie and i could tell he didn't want to date me. So don't worry, i didn't feel sad or upset, cuz i really wanted to date your uncle boing." maya said
"you and lucas almost kissed and then you two would already be happily together and i would be dating charlie gardner and I would have been pregnant with his child!" i said, that was so true, dad doesn't like lucas but he loves charlie and farkle.
"don't worry honey, your just having mood swings, this is normal. You'll be emotional, and say things you didn't mean." mom said
"This was a stupid decison from me, I can't believe it it, I wasn't thinking, it just happened" i said, " i feel like it was't a good descison and my future got affected, I won't go to Harvard Law School, this sucks.
"like your mom said, mood swings, and don't worry, you and lucas will be the best parents in the world. You could get into harvard by online and then raise the kid with lucas." maya said
"But whos going to take care of my baby while i'm at school and my dad is so upset at me right now, he probably doesn't want to even see his daughter" i said, i felt better but still confused
"i will" a voice said, which turned out to be my dad's.
"Dad" i said
"look, sweetie, riley, i didn't mean to yell at you and say the 'a' word, and punching Lucas" dad said, his voice was telling apologies "look i was scared on what was going to happen, me being a grandpa at 40, you graduating highschool, and leaving us for college, you want to go to massachusetts, and that's not sadly new york. "
"but what about your job as principal, and teacher" maya and i said
" i was thinking of being a stay-at-home grandpa, and retireing at 41, i want to spent time and know my grandchild. You have people who care about you and are here to support you in this rollercoaster." dad said
"You have me, your mom, dad, lucas, farkle, smackle, my mom, eric, your grandparents, josh, and so many more" maya said. she was right, and there are so many more who are willing to help me and lucas, but there is also still too much to worry.
"I love you guys and thanks a lot" i said, now that I actually think about it, honestly i should be very thankful, because many people don't have this fortune.
"Dad"
"yeah"
"I forgive you for what you said and did, and also thanks for staying by me" i said
"your welcome"
"now, i have to go see how lucas is" i said as i got up " ouch", i said as i felt pain, this really hurted and then i felt something, i felt weird and then...
