Chapter 5 (Part 1):

Alex's Point Of View:

Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!

What you see above is me freaking out. Like oh my God! A bull with a man's head, supposedly a Minotaur, which exists only in Greek myths, just invaded Ally's party and Grover had to tell me it was here for me.

Like what the fudge? (I don't swear)

I forced my legs to run faster and further and finally I reached my familiar street. I quickly ran to our house and rapidly rang the bell.

The door was opened by my sister (ugh) Bella.

"What the hell?" she said.

I pushed past her and heard her yell,"Hey!"

"Mom!" I said quickly running into the living room.

I saw her sitting on the sofa with David.

"MOM!" I yelled again.

She was startled to see me in this state and instantly knew something was wrong. I could tell by her expression.

"Sweetie! What's wrong?" she asked gently while David got up to get me a glass of water as I was finding it difficult to breath.

"The bull! And Ally and Nico and Grover! And there was this big crash! And packing bags..." I continued to ramble.

"Honey! I need you to slow down a bit! Okay?" My mother said.

I nodded.

"Now, I want you to slowly repeat what you were exactly saying."

"I was at the party and Nico and Grover had gone to get punch and then they disappeared and about 30 minutes later they hauled me up and dragged me to the pool area where I found a Minotaur who was holding Ally in the air and they told me to run home because the Minotaur was here for me, and then I ran as fast as I could and they also told me to ask what it was doing here..." I trailed off after the big explanation.

My mother sighed and ran her hand through her hair.

"I think it's time we tell her!" David said as he had entered just a few minutes ago during my speech.

Tell me what?

"That your a demigod!" David said. Guess I must have spoken my thoughts.

Wait a second! I'm a what?!

"What?!" I said.

"Sweetheart, you're a demigod! Your father left because he was a Greek God and since you were born, you were born a demigod! We were supposed to send you to a camp called Camp Half-Blood when you were twelve, that's the time when you should have been claimed but then there was no threat to you, so we kept you here," my mother finished waiting for my reaction.

"Woah..." I said.

This is a lot to take in. A lot.

"Honey, now that the Minotaur attacked, it means you're no longer safe here! You have to leave and join camp,"

"But what about school?" I asked.

"You school's ending on Monday! I'll write an application..." that was all that was said until my mother dragged me to my room so that I could start packing.

Next Morning:

The next morning was a total blur. I had gone straight to sleep after packing and had received a message from Grover saying that they were taking me to camp the next day.

I woke and took a quick shower and put on a "Hipsta Please" t-shirt, black skinny jeans and my black hi-tops.

I had packed my clothes, guitar (yes, I play), my song book and my shoes and other necessities. I had my backpack filled with some good books, my iPod and headphones (my mother did not know I was sneaking those in) and my phone.

It was about 11:30 when Nico and Grover appeared at my door.

My mother greeted them and asked them to take care of me.

"Hey guys!" I greeted them.

They nodded.

I picked up my bags and walked out to see... holy sh*t!

"AHHHHHHH!!" I ran back inside dropping my bags.

"What's wrong?!" Nico asked hurrying in.

"Huge dog... outside..." I said taking in deep breaths.

Nico shook his head slightly.

Nico's Point Of View:

"That's Mrs. O'Leary! Our dog! Well, basically Percy's dog," I replied to Alex as she shook.

"That's your dog?" she asked uncertainly.

"Yes, it is," I said.

She shrugged and slowly made her way to Mrs. O'Leary.

This is going to take some time...
