Lesson 3: Decide how you want your story FIRST
Do not start to write a story if you do not know how the story will go. You will hit a writer's block, and it will be fatal.
Only write as you go along if you are doing fan requests, or if you like it risky.
What I do, and I recommend to all of you, is to write out your intro, then your ending on paper.
Over time, find out bullshit to put in between the start and the finish. If it's horror, put scary scenes in there, if it's drama, put dramatic scenes in there.
Just make sure that your story makes sense, has a strong plot, and doesn't get boring.
Easy, right?
No?
