Hope you enjoy chapter 3.

*2 weeks later*

Nate soon comes downstairs.

"You're coming upstairs for sometime."

"Why?" I ask, scared to know.

He unites me before shoving me along.

My eyes burn because it's obviously been so long since I've seen daylight.

We get to a bathroom and he ties me to a chair.

"I'm just going to make your hair a bit darker, that's all."

"Why?"

"Don't worry about it. All you have to know is it will make you even more beautiful." He says as he mixes hair dye.

*1 hour later*

When he finishes and I look in the mirror, my hair is a darker shade of brown, almost black.

"Now you're like her."

"Who the fuck are you talking about?"

"Someone that I'll tell you about later."

"Why not now?"

"You wouldn't understand."

He stands me up before walking me down into the basement and tying me to the pole again.

*3 hours later*

Matt comes down the stairs snapping me back to reality once again.

"Is your hair darker?" He asks.

"Yes. Now I look more like her."

"I'm sorry you're having to be stuck here Brook, I really am."

"I'm sorry I even wanted to get out of my house and walk alone at night."

"It's not your fault. You didn't know."

"I just want to go home."

"I know how you feel."

"Do you?"

"I've been stuck here for maybe three years."

"Why can't you visit your family?"

"Nate's afraid I'll go and call him out."

"Even when the threat of him killing your family and you is in your mind?"

"Yes, even with that threat."

"I'm so sorry Matt. It must be hard."

"It is and I wish I can see them, at least one time."

I swear I saw a tear fall from his eye.

"You should probably go back upstairs, before Nate gets suspicious." I finally say after a moment of silence.

"Yeah. I'll come and check on you in a little bit."

"Ok."

As soon as that phrase left my mouth, he turned around and left, leaving me in the dark again.
