I don't care
How I wish that were true
Then I could ignore everything
And do what I need to do
I don't care
How I wish that were true
Because then I wouldn't have to care
About not having a clue
I don't care
How I wish that were true
I then wouldn't worry
If I bitten off more than I can chew
I don't care
How I wish that were true
Then there be no reason
To cry boo-hoo
I don't care
How I wish that were true
Then I wouldn't feel this pain
Over not protecting you.
I know you wouldn't let me
I know I have to trust
I know I should feel grateful
I know it isn't just.
It's not a matter of deserves
If that were true
I wouldn't have to care
Because those things
should have never
EVER
happened
To you.
