We all have our time to shine
and burn like the stars,
but not until our due.
For there's nothing before
and nothing after except
fate's view.
Impatience to glory
leads to downfall
even before it's happened.
While laying back for glory
only left it passing
without a mend.
And cruel though it was,
it was amongst the only conditions
of life's little laws.
