44. Shade of Love

They asked me to find a colour
That bled my love for you,
So folly a question it was,
You're every where
That's true.

I only need look at Mother Nature,
To find you so infused within,
If I close my eyes now,
You'll peek through
Right in.

And yet why is it
That every time I think
Of a colour to express my love,
I only keep stumbling upon a prism
That so simply disappears in a blink?

Perhaps that was it,
What it truly meant to be -
A colour one had never seen,
A shade no one had really been,
It was just there - to feel, not be real.

And that was my shade
Of how to love you -
Each day a little;
Each moment
A little more.
