60. Nature

In gloom she bloomed,
In darkness she thrived,
Beyond the comprehension of everyone alive,
She was nature, living life on
her own terms to abide.

They often thought of controlling her,
But she was a wild child never to be tamed,
Try though they did with all their power,
She was meant to break free from every tower.

Laughing at the petty attempts so ambitious,
She let them have their fun until it was vicious,
It was only a matter of time before she let lose her might,
Trampling everyone who chose to cross her sight.

She wondered why people often underestimated her will,
She could destroy worlds and crumble hills,
Perhaps they mistook her tender loving heart for her quiet,
Knowing not that the day she chose to speak up, it would be a riot.
