Dear Stefan:
It turns out happiness isn't on my side. I had to flee the life I had established for myself. My family, my lover and I have been separated. I don't know for how long, but I will wait. I'll cling on to the hope of seeing him and my family again.
Hope. Hope was one of the things you told me I possessed. It was one of my most remarkable traits. It would bring me trouble as well as it would bring me good. It's one of my favorite things about myself, since it brought me you.
I always hoped you liked me back. And you did, it also made me hope for my brother Alexander to return from the war. But it never happened. Which is why being hopeful is one of my weaknesses too.
