Joey
A couple weeks laterIt's been a couple weeks from the day that I talked to Cason and everything has been going alright for the most part. We text about twice a week, it definitely went down. Our conversations have been a bit dry in feeling not much emotion has been put into it, even regarding me.
"Joey you need to run to the store!" My mom yelled out to me.
"Again? That's the third time this week."
"Joey, we are out of popcorn, and I wanted to watch a movie tonight."
"Fine, whatever." Maybe a walk and some fresh air would do me good.I set out on the walk to the market, just casually thinking about how, and what happened. Everything was going do well, then I had to go and mess it up with my stupid head.
I arrived at the market and I went through the aisles keeping my head to the floor, trying to buy off time before going back home. I reach into my pocket to discover a ten dollar bill and five of it will go towards the popcorn and the other half towards what I want. Since I left my mom's credit card at home. I walk through one of the isles, specifically the candy aisle, and grab a Hersey Bar, you can never go wrong with a chocolate bar. Then I hear it.
"Where do you have your Nutella at?"
I wasn't too positive if it was him or not.
"Aisle four."
"Thanks." And I knew it was him, Cason, and I heard the slight brutish accent in his voice.Oh my god, Cason is in the aisle beside mine, wait. Did he say aisle four? I glance up and see the number four along with the jars of Nutella lined up beautifully. At this moment of time, I am currently internally freaking out, and then what do I do? Well, I place my body towards the whole side of candy. And that's when I hear footsteps.
"Nutella, Nutella, Nutella." I turn around quickly and, hot d*mn. That body. Anyways it was him.
Okay, Joey, you got this. Just don't be weird. I pat my rambunctious curly hair down and fix that flannel that tied around my waist and turns around.
"Um, hey. That's a really nice item you got there." What the actual f*ck Joey.
He smiles, and I notice how his eyes crinkle at the side. "Thanks, a friend recommend it to me." Holy Sh*t! He doesn't know who I am.
"Actually I don't think we officially met." I stick out my hand and he places his hand in mine and gently shakes it.
"Oh, my bad. Cason."
"Hi, Cason. My names Joey and it's amazing to finally ducking meet you."The smile on his face was to die for.
THE END
Omg, I can't believe its the end of the book already. From the beginning, it was planned out to be a short story and my first ever dialogue story. This story was so hard for me to write with all the scenes that had happened. Writing some of them I actually started to fry because I found it so sad, and heartbreaking. I wanted the last chapter to be quite short for the most part, and I hope that you can complete the story in your mind in what now happens with Cason and Joey. I want to thank all my readers for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for being there when my update schedule was wack and thank you for waiting this long for the final chapter, I can't thank you enough.
