Chapter fifteen

On the way to the park I was seating on the copilot seat with the triplets on the back seat all wearing their seatbelts and Jayden singing to the lyrics of uptown funk by Bruno Mars, that was playing on the radio,
Aiden looking at his father with a small secret smile, similar to his father's and Kay's hand in mine, in a wierd angle but such a warm gesture.
And Cal with a happy smile that made him look young, well more like his age, because most of the time he would have a serious face that made him look like the CEO  he was.

There was a calm breeze in the air, surrounding us with comfort and the promise of the future.

His strong hand rested on my knee, squeezing it as I talked with Kay,

I can't belive it!

I close my eyes, I can't belive I'm in this place right now, it feels like I'm in another dimension and that in any moment I will wake up at my old apartment and still have to find a job, all alone in a world of darkness, but I open my eyes when the hand travels from my knee to my hand that a moment before was in Kayden's, and the hand squeezes mine, in a warm and reasuring sort of way, that makes me look at the beauty of a man that is nere me, transmitting his support and I cant help but hear an "I have got you", it comes trough my head and that makes me smile all over again.

When we are parking, we get out and take out the kids, I can see that they are so exited to play and run free near the flowers and the trees.

I take Kay in my arms so that he is against my chest, and then Aiden gets out and I shut the door on the right side because jay got out on the other door.

Aiden surprises me with taking my hand and guiding me into the entrance of the park, his look serious but happy at the same time, the action makes me smile so much, but I dont want to break the mood by laughing because I know that he will take it the wrong way, like I'm laughing at him.

A little bit ahead I see Jay talking to Cal and they do a high five that its adorable and I get closer to them with the kids by my side.

When we get near them
Jay takes off tuning towards the lake, Aiden hives my hand a squeeze and then takes off in the same direction.

Kayden stirs in my arms and then kisses me on the cheek and I don't know how I know but I put him down.

I walk a few steps so I can be at the same level as Cal and I notice he is holding a basket, a picnic basket, that makes me smile.

He takes my hand with his free one and kisses me on the cheek on the same place as Kay did before.

"Let's go, Darcy" Cal Whispers next to my ear, and the tingles travel through my body deliciously.

I smile in response, and we take off, he hugs me by my waist and I do something that I have always wanted to do ever since I saw Sixteen Candles, and take a bold move and place my hand on the pocket in his jeans, right by his delicious butt.

He jumps when I do that and looks at me and I start taking my hand away, feeling suddenly shy  but he grabs it and puts it back where it was, he smiles at me, his sexy smile, I look at his eyes, their infinite colors make me smile and remember the first time I saw them, their serious demeanor now turned into a sweet gesture.

I look ahead and see the beauty that is the park, its breathtaking filled in a sight of greenery and water, a lot of pathways leading trough the water and its a beautiful sight, the day is perfect for a picnic.

The kids can be heard and seen a bit farther in the middle of one of the pathways, all jumping and happy, "Carefull boys" I shout to them, they respond in a ball of giggles " Yes Darcy!"

The gesture makes me smile

when we get into the play area, the triplets run towards the different sections and Callum and I get into a part where we can watch them but fot us to sit in. Cal gets a blanket out of the basket and we sit on it, and one moment after he lays his head in my lap, and whispers, I'm tired.

I smile at him warmly and he responds with a panty dropping smile, that would probably affect the whole female population in the park.

his eyes are closed and I cant resist the temptation of touching his hair, it's so soft, his content smile is what keeps me going and my fingers end up tracing his features on his handsome face, first his straight nose, then his eyelashes, that can't help to count them, his strong jaw and then his delicious full lips, i cant forget the detilof his bottom lip being fuller, and I take one more risky move, Move my lips towards his and I'm lost in them in the next moment, so much so that i cant think of stopping the friccion between them.
