Aarohi felt his lips in corner of her lips. She felt numb and weak in knees. He held her tightly in his arms and finally when he looked at her. He found her in tears again
"Can you pinch me?"she asked breaking him into a light chuckle
"Can I..?"
"Hmm.."she nodded like a baby
He pinched her nose and she blinked her eyes again. He had his palm resting on her cheeks. And wiped her tears with his thumb. Aarohi closed her eyes feeling his touch. He dragged her slowly towards him. Her head rested near his heart as he wrapped his hands over her. His shirt got wet by her tears. He held her head from behind , patting her gently. Resting his chin on head.
"Aarohi"
"Please let me be here like this"
He wrapped his hands around her completely. Hugged her tight. In each others embrace. She felt secured. Few minutes later they broke apart.
Looking at each other. He smiled joining their heads
"Arjun...I want to..."
"Sh..Let me speak first"he held her wrist. made her sit in a rock and sat besides her.
"You know...Your eyes spoke in the morning when i said that I'm going to marry Thara. I noticed your tears Aarohi even though you hid it from me."
"You saw it?"
"Hm.."
"I felt..."
He intruppted her
"Listen to me first Aarohi. I know I shouldn't have talked to you liked that. But trust me i didn't mean to hurt you. I was hurt. Yesterday night i came there to meet you. And.."
"And?"
He drew a sharp breath. And looked sideways
"I saw Arun proposing you"
Aarohi looked at him bewildered. And then it struck her. Arjun would have barged in at the wrong time
"Arjun..That wasn't..."
"I know Aarohi. Today i met Arun in our office. He came there to meet you and Nandini" . . . "See Arun. Personal things aside. This is a working place. Aarohi and Nandini are my staffs. You can't just barge in at any moment and ask for them. Besides Aarohi isn't here today. You may leave" Arjun said blankly. Flipping through a file. Ignoring Arun who sat opposite to him
"I'm sorry sir. I didn't mean to intruppt them in their work. Today is a big day for three of us"Arun said smiling widely.
"I know Mr. Arun. I wish you and Ms. Aarohi all the very best"
"Oh..so you knew it.? Aarohi must have told you right. About me and Divya" Arun said
Arjun looked up from his file when he mentioned Him and Divya
"You and Divya?"
"Yes sir..I told you today is a big day for us. I going to propose Divya today"he said blushing leaving Arjun puzzled
"But...You love...Ms. Aarohi right?"
"Good lord. How can i love her when she is in love you" Arun blurted out making Arjun freeze. Arun bit his tongue for his foolishness while Arjun looked at him shocked
"Erm...I mean...she.."
"Aarohi Loves Me?"Arjun asked stressing each word.
"I think i should leave now" Arun got up from the chair
"Arun..wait.."
He looked back at Arjun
"Yesterday i saw you proposing Aarohi. So I thought you both..."
Arun widened his eyes and soon bursted out laughing
"No..Sir..I was actually practicing with Killer. for proposing Divya. We have nothing else between us" Arun chuckled. Arjun felt a wave of relief inside him and even more surprised when he heard that Aarohi love him back
"I think i should leave now . And one more thing. She loves you. Genuinely. Aarohi is a pure soul sir. She had suffered a lot in her life. I...hope you will not hurt her anymore" Arun said walking outside the cabin
"She loves me?" . . . Arjun lowered his head when he found her glaring at him. She was quiet and he knew that she was so hurt
"I'm sorry Aarohi. I shouldn't have talked to him like that and...I shouldn't have misunderstood you. I was in fear. Fear of loosing you. This is Me Aarohi. I can't stop myself when I'm angry. I'll blurt out. I may hurt others. I'm tough. Arrogant. Selfish. This is Me. And i still don't know why I'm like this" he held her palms
"Aarohi..I'm a difficult man to deal with. Its not so easy to be with me. And that's why I'm asking you. Are you ready to forgive me? Are ready for a life with Me ?"
Arjun knew she was angry and hence she was silent. He sighed and got up from the ground until she held his wrist.
"I'm with you Arjun"
She stood up , in front of him
"I Loved you even after knowing that you are a difficult man to deal with. I fell in Love with Mr. Arrogant. I know there will problems. Misunderstandings. Be there with me and we will face it all together" her lips curved into a smile. He smiled back. Gripping on her palms.
" I just want to be with you Arjun. To be with you Forever "
He smiled brightly and they were in each other's embrace again. He slightly lifted her up from the ground while she had her head near his neck. She couldn'tbelieve it all. Finally it happened. He loved her the way she did. She couldn't stop her tears and clutched his shirt.
They broke apart as he kept her on the ground. Looking at each other with a smile.
"Arjun..are You sure about this? I don't want you to regret about this later"she lowered her head
"Aarohi...you will never replace Kavya since she's living inside me. But trust me. I will love you with all my heart And i believe that Nivi will do the same"
She smiled wiping her tears and nodded. He joined their foreheads again.
"I Love You Arjun"
"I Love You more Aarohi"
