Nico POV

They were everywhere.

Monsters. Giants. I can't breathe. The air burns in my lungs. I haven't eaten. I haven't drank. The sulfurous air is stinging my eyes.

There. Behind me. Screams and cries of the monsters chasing me.

I'm surrounded. I'm weak. Injured. I can't fight. I can't run. I can't... I can't....

I wake up screaming. I grab at the sword necklace hanging around my neck. I look around wildly, scanning for danger. I can barely see, my vision fuzzy.

The other boys in my dormitory are all sitting up in their beds, staring at me look slightly concerned. I glare at them best I can while breathing heavily.

I slip out of bed and walk as composed as I can to the door, thankful that I sleep fully dressed now. Once I'm out of the Slytherin dorms, I break off at a sprint, not entirely sure where I'm going.

I end up at the owlry, only a few owls in the roosts as it is still hunting time for them. They stare at me as I walk, looking for my owl.

Cerberus (the owl) swoops down from his spot, landing in front of me. Despite my best effort, I still flinch when he lands. I stroke his feathers gently, telling him how good he is, and that I need him to deliver a letter.

I grab parchment, ink, and a quill from a box and write as quickly as I can. I roll it up, attaching it to his leg. I feed him sone quick treats. This would be a long trip.

"Please deliver this to William Solace in long island."

Cerberus makes a shrill hooting noise before taking off, flying out the window. I watch him go before turning away. I don't want to leave this little, safe feeling room, but the sun is starting to rise and I have to be at breakfast or the trio would be suspicious.

I sigh as I walk. I just hope that Will gets my letter.

Yo. Here is a chapterino! That rhymed! I'm a poet and I didn't even know it! Anyway, sorry for any spelling errors, I'm writing this on a phone and the buttons are tiny.

Peace out Matchsticks!

Love,
Sammy
