XV - Judgement Day

James Norrington POV

I helped Jones come ashore ... on a large bucket full of sea water, since he can't come ashore without it... I stood on the sidelines as Elizabeth, Sparrow and another pirate walks towards Turner, Beckett, and Jones.. they were having a conversation.. I didn't care.. there were secrets and betrayal.. Sparrow being the 'grand architect' as Beckett classifies it.. "I propose an exchange. Will leaves with us, and you can take Jack." Elizabeth says "Done." "Undone!" "Done." the pirate to Elizabeth's right confronts her. "Jack is one of the nine pirate lords, you have no right..." "King." she sternly says 'I don't even know what's going on anymore.. not do I care... Jones says Maria will return.. and I await for that.... but I'm getting impatient.. was she really alright? when is she coming back?' questions concerning Maria kept popping in my mind. "Advise your brethren, you can fight and all of you will die, or you can not fight in which case only most of you will die.." Beckett says "you murdered my father.." Elizabeth glares at him "He chose his own fate... as did your sister.." I sent him a glare "and you've chosen yours.. We will fight, and you will di--" "That wont be necessary.." a voice I never thought I'd hear again says. "Maria!" overwhelmed by joy, I wasted no second to dash to her and embraced her.. "James.." she returns my embrace. I pull away and looked at her.. she looks different.. her arms had markings.. her dark eyes were now deep pools of blue, as blue as the sea.. her hair was wavy.. her clothes...... she was showing so much of her porcelain skin. "Maria! what on earth are you wearing?!" I exclaim as I start to take my jacket off. "James.. I'll explain it later.. right now, there are a few tasks I must do..I'm sorry for this.." she steps around me "bind him so that he wont interfere.." she orders to no one but then I felt my arms being wrapped by something. I looked and saw shackles made by water. "wha-?!" I was cut off by an invisible force that made my mouth shut.

Maria Swann/Triteia POV

Moments earlier...

I came out of the sea and had taken the heart of Davy Jones from the Dutchman and was now on my way to the Black Pearl. "Syrena, guard the chest.. Tamara, I need you to keep an eye on the items.. make sure you have all 9 of them.." I order and off they go.. I rose the water until it levels the deck.. I was unnoticed until I cleared my throat. "MERMAID!!!" they yell then pointed their weapons at me. "really? do you see a tail instead of feet?" I question, crossing my arms then tapping my foot on the water platform. "wh-who are you?" one of them asks "I have see no reason for me to tell you.. but if you must know, I am Triteia, Ruler of the Sea.. Daughter of Triton, the God of the Sea.." I held out my hand to the open water and shoots up my trident. I caught it, spun it before I point it towards the pirates.. "I ask for you to surrender Calypso to me, and I will let you all live... if not, then all of you will drown to the deepest part of the ocean..food for my people.." I threaten and they all stepped away from me. "s-someone! free her! give 'er what she want!" I smile "wise decision.." I say then retracts my trident. a few men had came with Calypso, who was bound in ropes.. I snapped my fingers and she smiles as they ropes had fallen from her. "You came for me." she says "of course.. you are my mentor.. when I failed to get a hold of you, I knew something was wrong.. so, I have come to rescue you and reunite you with your beloved, as I will with mine." I smile and extend a hand at her "Shall we return you to your true form?" I ask and she takes my hand with a pleased smile.

We fall to the ocean, disappearing from sight, and then I rose from the waters to the beach where negotiations where being done.. ".... we will fight and you will di--" "That won't be necessary." I cut off my sister and everyone looked at me shocked. "Maria!" James looked overwhelmingly happy as he sees me and runs to my arms. He pulls me to an embrace and I return it.. "James.." I breathe his name.. then he pulls away and looks at my new appearance(picture) "Maria! what on earth are you wearing?!" he exclaims as he saw my clothes.. it was either the clothes I wore yesterday, or this.. I had no choice as to wear this, seeing it was the only dress which was more comfortable to move in than the other one.. this one shows more of my skin than the other one though... "James, I'll explain later.. right now, there are a few tasks I must do..I'm sorry for this.." I steps around him "bind him so that he wont interfere.." I order the sea, as much as it pains me to just bind him and let him watch everything, he mustn't stand in the way... "Maria Swann.. Admiral told me that you drowned to the deepest parts of the sea.. and yet here you are.." Beckett looks at me with a really..disturbing glint in his eyes.. it was making me uncomfortable, but I stood tall.. "I never really drowned..I merely took the chance as to be found by my people and they drag me to the deepest waters as they gave me my crown.. my birth right as Ruler of the Sea.." with this, I extended my hand and my trident shoot towards me and I caught it. Everyone but Jones, who knelt down on a knee, looked shocked.. "Elizabeth Swann is the 'King' of the Brethren Court.. her mermaid sister is the 'Queen' of the sea.. what's next? is there another Swann that will show up and say they're king, or queen of something?" my attention snapped at Mr. Sparrow.. and he shuts up.. "I would request for you to stay quiet, Mr. Sparrow... another word of insult to me or my people, and you shall become their meal.." I say with a slight glare before I turn to a stunned Beckett. "you've committed crimes not only against the Crown, but also against the Sea.. murder, deception, betrayal, and so on.. you've drove Davy Jones away from his duties and forced him to 'exterminate' the innocent.. although they are pirates, they are still humans.." I pause "Although, true.. Jones can be cruel as to not give them a chance.." I glared slightly at the captain "it was under your orders for him to do so.. and as his superior, you will take responsibility for your underlings.." I point my trident at him "I sentence you to death at sea.." I say, coldly.. he looked shocked for a while before he chuckles.. "and you think you can do that?" he asks.. I then snapped my fingers and the waters rose to knee level and water binds Elizabeth, Sparrow, the pirate; whose name I know not of, Will, and Beckett and a few of the merfolk had come to aid me in keeping an eye on everyone else.. "before Beckett's sentence, I will fulfill my promise to you, Davy Jones... Calypso!" I summoned her from the ocean and she emerges with a smile on her face. "Hello.. my sweet." she runs into his arms and Jones turned human. there were gasps everywhere.. I was shocked as well, but I remained calm.. "It has been torture.. trapped in this single form... cut off from the sea, from all that I love, from you.." she tells him "10 years.. I devoted to the duty you charged to me.. I looked after those who died at sea.. and finally, when we could be together again, you're never there.. why?" Jones asks her harshly and I could see the guilt in Calypso's eyes .."tis in my nature.. would you love me if I was anything but what I am?" she asks him, Jones was about to say something but I stepped in "but you did hurt him.. you caused betrayal and he felt an unbearable pain than made him what he is now.." I paused for a minute "you both can make things right.. right now, at this second as I bare witness.." I tell them.. and they look at each other.. "Free me.. when I am, I will give you my heart. and we will be together...always.." she promises "if only you have a heart to give.." she pushes away from him and Jones reverts back into his cursed form.. "My heart always belonged to you.." Jones says, with a hint of regret since he has no heart to give to Calypso.. "I will free you both.. Syrena.. Tamara" I summoned and they appeared on either side of me with the chest and bag of the items. I take the bag made the waters for a table for me to place the bag.. "All you have to do now, Jones.. is to say the words..as you would to her.." I tell him with my trident pointed at the bag and Jones looks at Calypso lovingly "Calypso.. I release you from your human bonds.." he said and Calypso melts at his voice. I shot the bag with lightning, as I've learned Triton is able to do with his trident, and had set it fire.. the smoke surrounds Calypso and she had a mischievous and wild look in her eyes. "Calypso.. calm yourself." I said in a commanding voice and she restrains herself.. "Jones.. the key.." I extend my hand towards him and he willingly give it to me. I open the chest and takes it from Syrena.. I dismiss her and Tamara and they both went to guard the others who watched. I strode towards Will Turner and undo his binds. "Will Turner, I come to understand that you wish to free your father from the Flying Dutchman and in order to do that, you must.. become its captain.. you need not to stab the heart.. but I must take out your's to replace it.. do you accept your fate?" I tell him and I can hear my sister protest behind me.. but Turner had a serious look at his face. "I accept.." he says without a wavering thought. I smile and turn to Jones and Calypso. "Davy Jones.. you are free from the Flying Dutchman.. as a new captain will take your place.." I say then levitates his heart towards him and finally, it returns to his chest and he reverts back to his human form. "May you and Calypso live happily together now and forever.." I say. They had a grateful smile on their faces before they turned and left.. melting into the sea..

I turn to Will Turner.. "I can only spare a month for you and my sister to be together... but you must return to the sea and become the Dutchman's captain.. or else.. the order that has been created and its balance will tip and everything will be thrown into fray." with this, Elizabeth ran to embrace Will as I free her from her binds. She turn to me in protest, but met and was silenced with my glare. "I am only being a sympathetic and forgiving sister.. Don't think of crossing me again.. I saw what happened that night and it was what pushed me to jump off. If I were normal and didn't die from the waters, what you did surely killed me..." I tell her and her eyes carried guilt; guilt for what she did, guilt for betraying her lover, guilt for betraying me.. With that I dismissed them and they were free to do as they please.. I turned towards the Pirates and released.. "I am familiar with one of you..." I implied that I wanted their name "Hector Barbossa the Captain of the Black Pearl, yer highness.." he bows and Jack Sparrow knocks his hat off "as if! The Pearl is mine!" he argues and they start to bicker... "I care not of what you both claim, I merely asked for your name and nothing else... Go before you further annoy me with your bickering and my people shall take care of you..." I wave my hand and the merfolk had drawn a bit closer to them with the look of hunger in their eyes... with that, they fled..

As soon as everyone else has left, a storm started to brew and I turned towards Beckett with a very icy glare....
