Finn's POV
"Can we talk?" I shakily breathe out, trying my absolute best not to faint at how pretty she looks with that orange beanie covering the top part of her head.
"MILLIE!" Sadie, Maddie and Grace squeal from the other room, almost making my ears bleed
"Millie, Finn is so perfect for you!" Sadie yells from the other room making me blush lightly
"Shut up Sadie someone is at the door!" She shouts before looking at me and leaning her head against the door frame
"Sure, anything to get me away from them!" She shouts, making me laugh
"Millie who are you talking to?" Maddie shouts, running out of the living room making Millie shut the door behind her, grab my hand and run away deep into the forest until we make it to the familiar place.
"Holy shit I didn't know you could run like that." I say through heavy breaths. How did I run for two hours straight and I can't even run one minute without being out of breath?
"Let's just say Sadie made me do track for a year." She laughs not out of breath at all. "So what did you want to talk about?" She asks standing on a rock by the water fall looking at her beautiful reflection in the icy water.
"Umm I wanted to ask you a question." I nervously say, my heart is pounding. Why am I so nervous it's not like I'm asking her to be my girlfriend?
"What are we?" I ask, putting my hands in the pockets of my jeans
"I was going to ask you the same question because if I'm being truthful I don't know." She sighs, keeping her gaze locked in the rippling water
"I don't know." I walk over to the rock she's on
"How about this." She pauses," clean slate. Start off fresh." She smiles
"I like that." I smile," but I'll only agree if I get to take you out on a date tomorrow." I smirk, making her blush
"What time?" She smiles, adjusting her orange beanie, making my heart skip a beat because of how beautiful she looks.
"6pm it's a school night after all." I smile making her laugh
"And I thought I was the dork." She mutters making me gasp
"I don't need this cheek young lady." I Say 'offended' making her laugh, she looks so happy and peaceful when she laughs
"Where are we going on this date?" She smirks, looking up from the ground to my eyes making me feel nervous. I could just sit here staring at her forever and I would never ever get bored.
"Ppops Diner and then maybe I can play you a song on the guitar." I smile remembering she wanted to hear me play a few years back
"Really?" She gasps
"Yes." I look down to her lips longingly, them glossy with strawberry chapstick, sending me crazy, the plump pink lips I so badly want to feel against my own every time I look at them.
"Clean slate wolfie." She teases walking away, through the forest
"Hey wait up dork!" I shout running after her, catching up to her. We walk out of the forest and onto the concrete road, the last bit of sunlight shining on her immaculate face.
"A HA!" I hear a voice shout from behind us. We both turn around and see Sadie, grace and maddie
"I see what's happening here!" Sadie says in the Maui voice from Moana, wiggling her eyebrows
"Yeah they went into the woods to makeout!" Grace teases
"We did not!" I shout walking up to them," I just needed to talk to her."
"More like give her mouth to mouth!" Maddie chimes in
"You three are dead!" Millie laughs, running up to them while laughing. I just stare at the seen unfolding in front of me, Millie chasing after them, them squealing. Millie looks just amazing, the way her brown short hair peacefully blows back when the slight breeze hits it, they way she laughs, they way she smiles beautifully, the everything. While I was staring at her as she runs to maddie, Sadie catches me smiling while admiring the girl, she gasps
"Finn!" She shouts walking up to me, while the others are still in a mad chase.
"Yeah?" I ask reluctantly tearing my gaze from Millie
"You are in love!" She shouts the end, gaining the other girl's attention
"Who's in love?" Millie smiles and laughs while walking up to us
"F-"
"Sadie and Caleb!" I cut her off, glaring at her
"No it's Fi-"
"I gotta go bye guys." I cut her off again before walking down the street away from them, Millie still in my mind. Stepping into my car and driving off.
Millie's POV
Finn just walked off randomly, leaving the four of us confused and in silence, until Sadie bursts out laughing.
"What did you do?" Grace smirks
"I did nothing, I did nothing." She laughs out, making me even more confused," I just confronted him on something." She smirks looking at the black mustang driving the opposite way.
"What did you confront him on red head?" I sigh
"Nothing important." She lightly laughs, smiling.
A few moments of comfortable silence passes, with us just standing in the middle of the road, the night taking over the sky.
"What did you and Finn actually do?" Grace warmly smiles at me
"Nothing too important." I smirk before walking down the street to my house, leaving the girls confused. The street filled with pure silence until a familiar red head breaks it
"FILLIE!" She shouts making me laugh.
I promise the next couple of chapters will be juicy. Two bad chapters in a row I know but it's gotta get worse before it gets better. Also thank you all for the support on this book and all the comments you leave, they truly make me laugh😂❤️
